    hi Mr warren
    here are the steps u should follow to cancel recorder
    1- open ( setting)
    2- open (application setting)
    3-open (call)
    4- open (all calls)
    5- open (answering machine)
    6- open (setting)
    7- change ACTIVE to Off
    i hope yr problem will be solved

      Hi,

      Missed calls are not being displayed on my phone and automatically go to the recorder- which i dont want- any idea how to solve this - its not in the manual?

        hi everyone
        i just got this phone yesterday,,, and i like it so much, except one thing,, which is the sound level,,,
        anyone used this phone and noticed that?
        the sound is very low,, is there's anything to solve this problem? or is there's a new firmware can make the sound louder?
        pls anyone answer ,,

          Anyhow, is there a way to set this automatically by phone number?

          Phone A always call from Card 2, Phone B always call from card 1?

                  Guys, can anyone help....
                  I am on my third handset from the retailer. first two went back because the t9 predictive wouldn't remain as default. Third handset is the same. Retailer now changed their tune and saying it's a "characteristic" of this phone rather than a software flaw that the T9 always defaults back to Abc, even when navigating throught the sms ie, including an attachment etc. Personally I find it hard to believe that Samsung would take a step backwards in their software development. Can anyone with same phone confirm or deny this. It's driving me nuts. The phone is brilliant in every other way (I also have the c6112 and c5212, but B5702 potentially the best in my view)
                  Any help would be appreciated.

                      appreciate your efforts but for some reason,unlike every other phone i,ve had it won't stay on T9,always reverts back. May be a software/firmware issue. Back to the retailer I think.

                        About T9 predictive/ABC/123 input method for SMS and MMS:

                        As far as I know, on the B5702 your last used 'input method' will be your next default text input method.

                        You can select your input method while on the message screen by entering menu Options/Input method/....
                        OR
                        While on the message screen you can easily use the */ArrowUp key as a short-cut key anytime when texting:
                        -Press and hold the */ArrowUp key to choose your input method T9 or Abc
                        -Then while texting, press the */ArrowUp key to alternate between upper-case text/lower-case text/numeric input.
                        On the top right-side of the screen, you will see your currently used input method and if its in upper/lowercase or numeric input.

                                  This is the best dual sim phone by samsung. Really a nice piece...A bit expensive but...worth of it....

Took delivery today of b5702 and the contacts can indeed be customised as you suggested. One more question if i can, Is there a way of having T9 predictive as default text input. Currently having to change manually every time i compose a new text, or indeed navigate within text message ie, if i attach an item to sms the format goes back to Abc. Very annoying. Any suggestions would be appreciated
