Gas, 15 Jun 2009We are sick and tired reading the comments some of you make... morelet me ask you guys something...i dont wanna sound like a jerk, but would you compare macs to pcs? so y would it be wrong to compare this phone with symbian based phones? dont they serve the same purpose (i,e entertainment, quality, functinality, design?). ITs definately better to compare this to the x1 and htc touch pro2, but i dont see anything wrong with cmparing it to the n97 either. afterall, symbian and winmo ARE in competition and they DO need to be compared to figure out if you want a symbian based phone or a winmo phone. I personally would never buy a winmo phone just because i find windows is so sloppy in every way. Please provide options and pos/cons to each operating system

the best winmo devices I ever seen. I would rather prefer this compared to xperia. large amoled screen, good keypad. I hope it would response faster to applications. Good move samsung.

I am little confuse here. I know RAM, but what is ROM please someone elaborate. this phone has 1GB, what about N97? what is the effect of having lower ROM? thanks.

We are sick and tired reading the comments some of you make, and comparing phones are not supposed to be compared. You can not compare phones with different operating systems and different functions. Is like comparing saloon cars with 4x4s.
Each phone may be good for what it is designed for. Some people may be business orientated and want a phone that can edit office documents for example, so a phone that only view office it is no good at all for that person no matter how good it maybe in playing music. So grow up people and when you compare phones compare them fairly and less of a bad language.

ive been saying this for years, the bigger the screen the better. 3.5 is not bad but 3.8 to 4.0 is better. big screen, qwerty pad, and windows mobile is a great combination.

Yes, WinMo is infinitely more hackable by end users, with all the cooked ROMs and what not.
But what totally kills this phone for me is:
135MB of RAM
What were they thinking?
TP2 has 288MB
These are mobile computers and limiting the amount of memory like that is going to hurt the usefulness of this device.
Other than that, a good looking phone and finally another one with 1GB ROM.

oh i forgot, this thing can hold up upto 32gb of memory card...
and Idou is far better than n97 XD

I think it should be compared with X2 or some HTC devices.. not with n97. LOL
