Hi Shiva,
I am using the B7610 for the past 4 months ...
Whilst messaging the phone hanged and I restarted it ... after restarting I noticed that in the "OTHERS" menu display the icons for internet explorer and windows media player are duplicated I have 2 icons for Internet explorer named - Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer (1) and 2 icons for Windows Media Player named - Windows Media and Windows Media (1)
.... Please help me to remove these extra icons ..plz

can you please help me out in which phone to pic... morePoizon. It really depends on your usage. In principle both phones are the same (compare all features) other than the B7610 has qwerty keyboard. I got this phone because i was used to having a keyboard to type my text. unfortunately i dont use this much lately. I use the screen display to type my messages.
The i8000 has a built in memory + external micro SD slot and the B7610 has a small internal memory so you would need to purchase a micro SD. i have installed a 16GB external on mine and i still have a lot of storage left for my use.
Both phones are great have been using mine for the past 6 months already and have minor problems only. good luck

Hello guys,
I'm planning to buy this device as well but I can some questions..
First of all, does it have only 1 micro SD slot?
Other than that, how is the GPS function? With that I mean totally free software; am I able to use free navigation software? I would also want to use it as a pure GPS device, to give the coordinates and work like a compass..
And also, can I run all of the MS Office applications freely? Not that it would be handy but can I, for example, change my PowerPoint slideshow?
How is the battery on real life? Does it last 3 days under heavy load?
And finally, tell me why I should buy this over Motorola Milestone? :-)

n for flashing u need to switch of yhe phne take out ur sim n memory card n cnct only after u've clicked detect in octans
i think u shud read the guide given by shiva carefull before flashing

hi,
I have some problem with the set. When my USB setting is set to Mass Storage it is being displayed in the PC suite, but i cannot sync anything like phonebook or sms. Also, the Octan Flashing Application dont recognize the phone.
When i shift to Active Sync mode none of the device recognizes the phone.
Also, does any message appears to choose PC Suite or mass storage when we connect the phone using USB.
Please help me as i want to flash my phone. I am using winMo 6.5 and New PC Suite.

have u got any info whether this phone will ever get an official update of WM 6.5.3 (like Omnia 2 does), where the "start button" n the rest of top info are moved to bottom screen (new layout, or it will just stop @ WM 6.5?

Estong, 21 Jul 2010i have been using this phone a couple of months now. the fe... moreAs per my experience it easily connects to WiFi , however the quality of connection is not that good always that is , it is slightly on the sensitive side. Secondly the only mail that refuses to get synced thru wifi is hotmail or livemail. G-mail, Yahoo do not have any syncing/updating propblem on wifi and/or active sync.

i have been using this phone a couple of months now. the features of this phone are great.
However,some comments that i have for this phone is not user friendly when connecting to a wifi free areas. sometimes it cannot connect because its looking for some encryptions etc. Thus, i cannot sync my emails by using wifi free areas. it always want to connect to my network provider. is there somebody can teach me how to setup my connection so that i can grab my email using wifi and my network provider.

i took some snaps a few days ago ..its in the card memory and not displayed in the album or the file xplorer... since the space is still occupied i m quite sure about the presence of the files... i ve already scanned the card in 3 other systems... but didnt help..

I've tried both 8GB & 16GB external memory.
work like charm,not a single problem so far n hopefully there wont b any!

I have another question regarding the phone:
Why The High CPU Performance doesnt seem to work on the "WORK" mode screen display? each time i use the "WORK" mode screen n try to set the CPU performance to "High",it seems to automatically set the performance back to "Auto".is this normal? does High performance only apply on Samsung widget plus screen (Life Mode)?
please assist.

thats all i can say
camera is amazing
there are enough apps but nt games , games u can freelly get anywhere on da net, i can help u with that
n sry i havnt tried the 16gb card
