Im Shivaraj from Bangalore.
Im planing to buy this phone, i need to know one think.
is this possible to use this phone as modem to connect internet to pc like nokia using pc suite.
And can i edit the access point in samsung pc suite.
I have a bsnl post paid sim with unlimited download plan. using bsnl sim with my friend's samsung corby pro using new samsung pc suite i tried to connect the internet, there is no manual setting for internet in pc suite but default setting is there but its north india access point. In bangalore i need change the access point. if this possible plz tell me, i love this phone.

The Omnia only has ONE speaker.
I have a i8510 INNOV8 which has dual speakers and is the best phone Samsung ever made.
I like my Omnia also but nothing can beat the INNOV8

Could u pls post a few links to exciting custom roms with many features. I'm currently running the WM 6.5 huzheyi 1.0 build. I don't need lite roms.

u can check the applications that makes diff for example explorer is diff, themes , menu, windows media player support resume ect just custom removed some unwanted applications like connection home, dlna, unwanted drives ,ect to give maximum perfomance so don worry its a original one how was the perfomance?
sure nice that y i think this is lot better than orginal one stuffed with so many unwanted applications which makes system slow
if u dont blv flash the orginal one frm service center then u might know wat....

When I want to define contact directly from a messaging app he allowed me only to choose from my default contact number. Is there any way that I can choose some another contact number. PS I can send massage to some other number from a phonebook app but I would like to know can I do that also directly from a massage app?

shiva , 04 Mar 2010u can use skyfire browser it has inbuilt 10.1 flash player ... moreShiva bro.... the version that u send is not original 6.5 ... when i switch on my phone it shows version 1.0 En. only appearance of fone is changed. i dont observe any changes in performance...

i just the samsung sbh 650 a2dp bluetooth headset for pro it works like charm heavy bass 3d tecno nice quality
i didnt expect to this level but it worths than other bluetooth a2dps
bec i was using sony d790 before a year i bought it for 5500 but it hurts me it works only for 3 month then right side not working i take to service they taken 2 months time to get me back it really hurts they replaced me new then again in 3 month gone am totally upset with that wat is the mean of buying 5500 product for 3 month then warrenty ends now i thrown that and bought samsung just for 2900 it works like a charm... samsung really improving in all field infact samsung is the provider of music processor to apple...
