Hey Guys,
I checked this phone is samsung showroom in bangalore, they are selling it for 23k, but the salesman said 2GB memory(which i understand is internal), does it come with the 8 GB card also as reviewed by FSM arena, as the salesmn had no clue and the piece he had was sealed.

and is the messaging part faster than 6.1

i read in gsmarena only that 6.1 is better than 6.5..

jim, 16 Feb 2010hey shiva,,which 1 is better ..b7610 or i8000???i think this one is better bec
1.it has hardware keyboad which is very usefull
2.touch screen is so sensitive than i8000 bec it has R-type touch which feel the smoothness
3. it has 2 home screen one is life mode and another is work mode very use full one which u dont find in omnia i8000
diff is this phone has only hsdpa support but omnia i8000 supports hsdpa and hsupa which dont make much diff and it has slight big screen than this

6.5 update is k same as 6.1 but more excellent features make ur more diff look internet explo with flash support better gps, updated windows media player and lots more
but after some days will know any lagging for now its looking good
but one thing for sure is u got more custom rom and cooked one for this phone that will be very faster... u can try that too but its risk to flash without reading procedure but that might avoid ur warrenty and may brick so need any help abt flashing u can ask me
first dump the 6.1 rom that will be a great backup for ur phone in future so that u can flash back so u wan know abt dumping i will get u application for doing that
last week sandeep said he flashed one already working perfect he might know better abt this any way if u wan i will help u my best

Jai, 16 Feb 2010Can somebody who has used a n97 mini also tell me following... morehi jai u r rite its bit slow but lot better than mini for sure and touch is very smooth than mini and mini is not such a great touch phone this has touch wiz which will make much diff than mini with 3.5 inch amoled thats fantastic and gps, music all better than mini more over it has wow hd
it beats mini in all field but u must consider abt the colour limitation bec of the os which u dont have in mini

Can somebody who has used a n97 mini also tell me following:
1. Touchscreen response is better in mini or b7610?
2. I know b7610 has faster processor but still has lags in certain areas compared to the mini due to winmo. is it true? Pls somebody who has used both phones reply. thx..

R3D, 15 Feb 2010Sooo.. any1 tried google maps? i dont see an icon/link anyw... moreYes Google has been playing games ever since Gmaps version 4.0 release as this also supports Buzz on WinMo. So when the default browser is rendered useless to download the application what do you do??....this is what I did.
I also have Opera Mini Beta 5 installed on my device procured in cab form thru www.freewarepocketpc.net and used the same to log on to m.google.com. I found version 4.0 and downloaded the same to the device and installed it. Try it you may succeed as did I. All the best.

If you go to smart search and click on mail/utube they work fine but gmaps does nothing.. wassup with that? even goin to google site says sorry gmaps app does not work on this fone, have to use the normal web version through a browser.. suggestions?
