guys i have 1 question to ask.....
the headphones provided with the phone work fine wen connected to phone but if i connect it to a lappy,ipod or some other mobile ,... then it gives some strange sound... and if i press the call button and keep on holding it then it works fine ...
plz help any 1 facing this prob......

Hi, I have been using B7610 for one month now. I am facing two major problems in my phone
1) I am not able to send a phone number as a text message. It shows "send as a V Card" or "Send Via Beam". V card option opens GPRS which I cant access.
Is there a way to send a phone number as a Business Card?
2) I am not able to transfer multiple files via Blue tooth. Ex : audio files, photos etc...
Please let me know if I can do these

sandeep, 10 Feb 2010ok do one thing go to main menu then settings(samsung setti... morehey sandeep dont flush it of ur own to 6.5 its dangerous can break ur phone highly risk if got break then samsung service center will take long time to replace
i think u might have flashed with secany rom am i rite its a cooked one not the orginal one later u will find some problem
have u dumped ur am i already dumped my rob but don wan take risk with cooked rom just waiting for offch

sanjay raval, 11 Feb 2010I have two problems with Samsung B7610. Can anybody suggest... morehi sanjay... wen u create a new entry , if you dont enter a number in the "mobile" field then "send text message" then you will not see that option.
for eg. if you save new contact ABC and only the Home number but not the mobile then send text option will not appear... OR you can also enter the home number in the mobile field and you can see that option.. hope this helps....

I have two problems with Samsung B7610. Can anybody suggest a soulution ?
1. If I want to send a note by SMS, I am unable to send. When tried, it goes by MMS.
2. In my phone book, in few entries, the option of Send Text message doesn't appear. Then what to do for sending a message ? Physically, we can not insert the option in the phone book.

me tooo facing similar issue, if anyone gives miss call with just one or two rings, it doesn't display the number at all, if it's more than three rings number is correctly displayed in call log,even i tried with spb mobile shell's call log still it's...

Kushal, 10 Feb 2010dont have memory card reader.. n wats data center? could yo... moreok do one thing go to main menu then settings(samsung settings) then general settings >> USB connection >> and then select the mas storage mode istead of active sync and then it should be just fine
have fun this is a great device spl when u flash it with 6.5 not 6.1 i just dont seems to like 6.1 at all.

just wanted to add guys... the battery life is amazing..hvnt chrgd it for 3 days now.. with almost moderate calling and msgng n music... good job on battery front...cheers....

can any1 let me know how long does it take to transfer divx file to memory card. im transfrng a divx movie almost 750 mb and its taking very long...i checkd with samsung centre in mumbai and they said it will tk arnd 30 mins or so... has any1 tried this...all i do is copy and paste the file in Storage card> DCIM folder. I was able to copy other small clips fine..

no i dont have such a issue as u said unknown number can display may b its network prob did u try out in some other phone...
same my gf miss calls me so many times same as u said 2 or 3 sec but it display numb no prob it works fine may b software problem r something else if noting works finally go for hard reset make sure u had back up before reset
if again repeats change gf.....heheheh
if miss call that must b frm gf non frm others.... buddy
so who has gf has this don buy this phone.... mmmmmmmm

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2010no it never been a issue for me only when reciving internat... morehi anonymous... ;-).. i hv confirmed that the number which i get a miss call is not a International or a special number. its my GF who gives me those very short miss calls, n all i get is unknown number, but if she gives me a miss call for more than a 1 or 2 sec thn the number is displayed. i hv not tried this from other numbers. please let me know if any1 facing this issue...thanx
