Just called Samsung Singapore and they said the phone is not in their current release batch of phones models and the person I talked to said that next release plan is towards the end of the year. By then we will have 1 GHz phones competing with this one.

... moreIt has no advantages over the X1? Boy, are you serious? It has a larger screen (which is AMOLED), a bigger ROM, a faster processor, and even an official upgrade to WM6.5.
Anyway, for those of you looking to buy the phone, you can buy unlocked versions on eBay for $650.
It's a shame that this phone had no AT&T 3G; I was really looking forward to buying a Samsung WinMo phone (that has a QWERTY), and the B7610 had amazing specs, but Christ, it took Samsung forever to get this damn thing out.
Now it's been released and Acer is about to release the far superior F1 in a few days. Even more, HTC just announced, dated, and priced the HTC Leo, which is superior to this phone in every imaginable way (save for QWERTY), and is set to be released a short time later.
Jesus, Samsung. Talk about being a bit late.
