great entry level phone... i feel pretty cool with the features ...
especialy the phonebook features are amazing..
GUI is also made great..
disadvantage... could have accomdate games in this mobile...
reminders and calenders could be added
The clarity of screen and feel is really great
sturdy and brilliant phone..

i m very dispointed after use this mobile samsung c 160 last weak my uncle gift me this mobile it looks nice but .
i have found alot's of problem's in it.
no FM radio.
no do it list.
no calender.
no ring tones.
only 1 wallpapers
no games :(
nothing in it we need in every set.
we cant connect to the pc no plug in cable option. i cant understand that wht is this created by samsung mobile company.???? wreidddddddd
i dont know how to download game,ring tones, wallpaper's.
plz send me information regarding how to download wallpapers from my network service also kindly send me to activate gprs and other network service.
in my openion plz dont buy this mobiles phone.

i have been a great lover of samsung phones.
but after getting this phone it has force me to change my perception.
many drawbacks like
no calender inside
no to do list
no games
tricky keypad
why the most basic thing of calender is not there.

I have bougt this ph...some days ago....very bad tone...very slow....when try 2 disconnect call its not disconnected properly....it disconnected after 2 or 3 sec's latter...is it a Handset problem...can anybody tell me....over all its good....but not very good as my expectation from SAMSUNG.

Thats not great set !!! i could not think that a great company SAMSUNG can do this ...
this set does not contain good Poly tones..
and the Design too.. I prefer samsung C140 OR C130 on behalf of it OR Sony J230 IF u wanna buy of same rates

samsung c160 model looks very good.But it does not contain so many features. It does not have any games.It is very diffucult to handle it. Its is not user friendly pa like Nokia. Downloading ringtones is very difficult in this set. It does not contain any wallpaper, only one wallpaper is available in this. Its does not contain any so much of default ringtones in it.

I had bought this phone last month.It cost me 2400rs.
But i feel i had been cheated by samsung because this model neither have games nor good ringtones.Even we can not download ringtones.It does not have callenders and other general features of mobile.Its ring sound is quite low.
Battary life is very low 90 min aprox
no pc connectivity
memory of 400 kb totaly useless
no language option
no shortcut to sms also no personal setting(like inflight,meeting ,etc)
mmy view is don't buy this mobile

Just Go & buy Guys..........i bought it for 2300Rs.
it has all basic features.
GOOD:
1)Clear & Loud FM
2)GPRS (working perfectly Fine)-Tested
3)U can download wallpapers & polytones from GPRS
4)Security features -password for opening messages,settings,Call Logs etc
5)Good network reception..descent battery back up
BAD :
1) message typing is bit difficult
2) ringtone does cannot be heard through headset even if plugged
3)Fm stations cannot be changed via headset button(Like Nokia)
4) 400kb of memory

I've recently purchased this phone. It is ok-ok phone but not at all user friendly. To put it in vibrator mode it takes a lot of time.

I've bought this phone for my dad last week. Believe me this one has a nice FM radio and a fine display. But list ends there. it does not support operator logo! Neither can open sms carrying monophonic ringtones. Too much problem with gprs. Altogether, this has caused so much problem that i had to change the set within 2 days. Even service centres will not help you much.It takes too long to upgrade/repair the software. This is the worst phone I have ever handled. Just don't buy it.
