Found my old Samsung c170gsmh on a shelf and was wondering if it's still working, turns out it does, bought it in 2007 and haven't used it since 2010 or so, still has the original battery, I put my main sim card in c170 that I use with my newer Samsung smartphone and turns out it still works fine, I called my brother, the signal and quality is great, I would even say kinda better and clearer than with my smartphone, this is crazy, I thought it would be way worse but no! I was wondering how long the battery will last if I use the phone from time to time daily, it did for 5 days. Also, I checked what else I had on my phone and I found some old audio records of me playing guitar (Voice Memos) from 2010, so cool, also tons of messages from friends and dates, unexpected nostalgia hit me. Old memories, good and bad, so happy I still had them on my old phone.
Won't use this phone on a daily basis because it basically has 2 features, call and sms, but if I'll go camping or so, it would be a good backup for a cellphone that can only last a day.

Really enjoyed this gsm. Still use it and it has a great headset with good audio quality. I would like to get a new one, but Samsung isn`t interested in making great phone`s like this anymore. Can other big names make gsm`s like this ?
