after reading latest user reviews, i am not believe the wrong comments like phone automatic switch off, camera probs, memory probs and opera mini/ internet probs. i am using this set and cedar both but samsung monte is best in all departments. i have not faced any above problems regarding to this set. i am still using it for 11 months. thanks...

n this phne u have only the url browser..there is no opera mini...it will not even work if u dwnld...and the bluetooth is damn slow if u pair with any nokia device specially...overall i'll rate 5 out f 10..

Lol:p dont compare this phn wid se cedar:p se cedar is far better 4rm this phn;) cedar has 3g,2.2" display,multitasking,megabass equalizer,2mp cam with photo fix;) m0nte bar doesnt hav any of above features:p 700kb jar size:p very funny;)

The most samsung phones between rs 3000 to rs 4000 has a problem. It supports opera mini but it can't install it for the first time and if installed it can't work flawlessly like nokia phones. My question is that can i install opera mini and surf internet flawlessly in this phone?

Folk, this Phone... is a piece of Crap... Am not sure which sucks more the Handset itself or the Memory card that Samsung includes with it... U might say "Wat do u expect from a low end phone"?? But.. Understand.. the Card does not detect any some of the files you upload to the memory card... that is.. if you are lucky to upload it... Second.. the Camera... Not sure how it turns out like, cause you are not able to access it with a data cable, which is like finding a "needle in the haystack".. Phone has good music.. Phoning is good... Phone turns OFF for no reason... and you wont know it.. until it turns ON again... Sad story from the Makers of the Galaxy and the Wave series..

I want to connect internet through this mobile ... moreu have two options first- use data cable.. this is right choice for you, here u also install kies in your lappy for accessing INTERNET. Second- use BT 2.0 connection with lappy and your mobile, here this is slow connection and high chance of loose connection.

Hi Guys...
I want to connect internet through this mobile to my laptop which has "Windows 7 starter" OS... I don't have USB cable. I am using Airtel postpaid connection. How can I get internet to my laptop using this mobile??? Thanks in advance!

It has major firmware problems. for example, if you want to listen to a song converted in aac with album
art embeded it shows you "unsupported file". album art works only on mp3 files. if you set camera
resolution to max sometimes the phone wont save the image, i`ve tried no transition effect, changed save
to memory card, then to phone, none will work. you need to restart the phone or switch to video camera
then switch back to camera or lower the resolution. often when i listen to music the audio player wont
show me the length of the track, it shows 00:00. java programs, sometimes it freezes and files no larger
than 700kb are supported. it`s very hard to make playlists, on nokia phones it`s very simple. this phone includes a nice feature, possibility to search in entire music library but it`s very slow if you have a memory card (i use a 4gb), max supported 8gb. on their website samsung shows that a new firmware exists but i cant update via kies, i dont know why. the speaker of the phone is very low in volume but in
headset it`s wow, amazing, clarity, bass, volume, superb sound. beside that i like very much the look,
the display and that`s it.oh, don`t forget, it`s a cheap one and no, it`s not 3g compatible. good luck
