This is a good set in terms of price and the feature you get on this cell phone. The only drawback is it has a bad Bluetooth chip and for some reason it will not connect to KIES to transfer contacts and do a backup, the only option you have is get a data cable to tranfer data and backup your contacts. Basically Bluetooth is useless in this set.

abhay, 26 Oct 2010call recording feature is not availableNot True, call recording feature is available, all you have to do is go to voice recorder during a call through options that is left soft key and record a call. You can record upto 60 minutes of call if you have a Micro SD card installed, if a card is not installed then you can only record a call for 3 minutes. Hope this helps for people asking about call recording feature.

I bought this phone for my wife few days ago. She was using Nokia 2700 Classic before that. Comparing to that, Samsung C3200 has a much much better signal reception, shape and clearer voice, the interface is quite user friendly, sms chat is quite good. Buttons are quite soft. Cell responce is good. Battery life is better than Nokia 2700 Classic. I got 2GB card with it. Data cable was not inside the box but who needs it when you have blue tooth. The blue tooth has normal speed. The radio recording is a very nice feature. only one negative thing is that it gets hanged when you directly save the images on memory card. But you can save the image in phone memory and then transfer it on memory card. The shape is awesome. Camera quality is equal to Nokia 2700 Classic. The recycle bin is a good utility in this phone. One very handy feature is you can access all the logs at a time when you are sending sms or making a call, its very easy to locate anyone from call logs or sms logs. A new feature i found was the fake-call. I like it very much. Overall I suggest that if you donot want to waste money on expensive sets and yet looking for a stylish and reliable set, then buy Samsung C3200.

this is the affordable set by samsung. i am using from last three months. very good for low cost multimedia buyers.

you are correct vinny. No sony ericsson user will like to have a samsung or a nokia phone.SE has its own standard.

i am looking 4 budget mobile around 3k to 4k. thanks to GSM arena team 4 giving correct information and reviews to select a budget branded mobile. i like samsung c 3200 for good features, looks and appearance. again thanks a lot to GSM arena,.. continue your reviews.

i bought this phone a month back. . . i must say this phone is a disaster in terms of operation.
1. sound is good. nice bass.
2. looks good.
3. java applications don't run as expected. i tested phone . like opera mini would display pages without space between words as if no space bar was pressed while typing .
4. bluetooth is the biggest crap . transfer rate too slow.
5. files cannot be saved to memory card directly using java browsers like opera mini, bolt browser and uc web. it will just show memory card drive but will not save to it . means jsr file system error.
final verdict - this phone needs a serious firmware update . . . as all samsung phones are there in the market with java platform outdated or sound or network problem . . i was a samsung user from past 2 years and i used sonyericsson for 4 years without facing java errors and with superb sound :-) due to cost now i have to switch to samsung . . . i bet no sonyericsson user will ever be satisfied with samsung . me frm india

Does it support the only the regular micro SD cards or even the SDHC micro SD cards? Now a days, the market is flooded with these new cards.
