I ... moreJust take your mobile to a local mobile shop and ask them for a suitable able. BUT make sure you check it in their computer if it works before buying it. There are many fakes out there in the market..so beware..
You need to download the KIES software from the Samsung website.

I have one more question any of the C3200 users could help me with info.
Can a data cable be purchased separately to connecting to the PC for doing all the operations like moving MP3 / JEPG folders and phone book backups. If so should I install a software in my PC? if so, is the software available in Samsung mobile's website.

You can delete whatever files you want in the phone itself.
You can backup your phonebook to your memory card. SETTINGS >> BACKUP

i've never seen such quality os in this kind of low end phones.. it is just awesome.. Bluetooth and themes are let down.. but considering the price it's worth it..

I am using Sony walkman mobile.... Planning to pick Samsung c3200... I am so used to connecting my mobile to my PC for downloading MP3 and JPEG files. I understand that C3200 does not come with the software or the data cable to install in the PC for all data management of the handset.
I understand that all the downloading can only be done by installing a card reader to my PC (which I am willing to do) Please any one tell me how this works.... Can i move data as folders with several MP3 files or JPEG files to the memory card or can be moved only as MP3 or JPEG files ? If one need to delete any MP3 or JPEG files can it be done from the handset itself or one need to take the memory card out from the handset and do the deletion via PC.
Also someone help me with info if phonebook memory backup could be taken?

1) The music player quality of this ... more1.) I never experienced any slowing down during playing music. But hey, if you use low-quality memory cards, it tends to slow down..but its not the phone's fault.
2.) Yes, you can use it as a modem IF you purchase a data cable. You will also need to download the KIES software from the Samsung website.
3.) As I mentioned in my previous post, the phone comes with a 2GB mem card, a leather pouch, a screen guard and the usual stuff like a charger and ear phones (the ear phones are amazing!!).

This phone is the one of the best phones out there in the price range of 3-5k. Yeah, its way better than Nokia 5310 too (i used both of them).
First of all, this phone captivates you with its stunning design. The back of the phone is odd..its been designed ergonomically to rest in your hands. Though the external speaker of the phone is on the back, you can still listen properly due to the design of the phone. Coming to the front, the keypad is awesome. Its definitely one of the best out there. I roughly send 25-30 messages everyday and I found the phone flawless in the regards.
Coming to the INTERIORS, this phone sports a brand new OS. It offers an experience similar to those of higher-end nokia and sony ericsson phones. You can customize the homepage with all the shortcuts you want. Its of great help in the long run.
The menu is easy to navigate and you can enable 3D transition effects which doesn't effect the speed of the phone. My phone has been very responsive and it never hung since the time I bought it, i.e. 3 months back.
Though the camera is a low-mega-pixel one, it offers photos of very good quality. On the downside, the phone tends to slow down a little bit when photos are being taken in the highest resolution.
Files transferred via bluetooth CAN be directly saved to th external memory. One of the few disadvantages of this phone is that the data transfer through blue tooth is pain-takingly slow.
This phone sports a 3.5mm jack and you can use your favorite ear phones. But those prvided by samsung along with this phone are mind-blowing. Thwy are of the highest quality and equal those of sony walkman series. There are various preset equalizer settings and they do add to the hearing experience..especially the "surround effect" setting. I use a 4GB mem card and have 3.6GB of songs and the phone still never slowed down. This phone also offers a very helpful feature..you can search for any song in your playlist or folder by typing its name instead of scrolling for it.
JAVA is supported and any app below 1MB can be used. There are some in-built social networking apps such as gmail, facebook, orkut, etc. There's a slo an inbuilt chatting client. Opera browser and Google Maps work perfectly.
This phone has a 1000maH battery and it totally impresses you. I talk for around 20 mins, send 30 texts, listen to approx 30 mins music and surf for one hour everyday and the battery lives for 2 days.
3GP and MP4 videos can be played on full screen after resizing them in a computer.
Web-surfing it totally fast. But it depends upon your service provider too. Not only opera, but the in-built browser is good too. In it, you can browse both in landscape and portrait modes..which I think is awesome. BUT dictionary mode can't be used while typing while using the web.
The signal strength and call clarity are good and people on the other side of the call also didn't complain. But one major disappointment is the lack of call-recording feature.
You can't download themes for the phone. But I'm totally in love with the black$green in-built theme.
Privacy features are top-notch. You can seperately lock the inbox or the phone book or the memory card with a password too.
You can also back-up the messages, contacts, memo and calender events to your memory card.
This phone also has a recycle bin. In case you delete any sms or pic or song or contact, it goes to the directly bin.
OVERALL, THIS IS A TOTALLY AWESOME PHONE FOR ITS PRICE. ITS FEATURES OVER-SHADOW ITS DISADVANTAGES. this phone is available for Rs.3900 in the market. It comes with a screen-guard, a leather pouch and a 2GB memory card. BUT THERE'S NO SOFTWARE CD OF DATA CABLE IN THE BOX. This phone gives a tough competition for phones even in the 5000 category. TRUST ME, YOU WON'T REGRET A BIT FOR SPENDING MONEY ON THIS PHONE...ITS TOTAL PAISA VASOOL :)

* Not a great music player even it didn't support some mp3 songs, i dont know for what reason.
* Image viewer wont support higher MP pics.
* If ur a prepaid user you gonna have hard time with call summary / balance update message which u receive after every call & msg u send, coz that tone cant be stopped or changed that is very annoying.
* Data cord & Software CD not included in box.
* Even the software is not recognizing the phone when its connected to PC, its recognizing only as removable media.
But for this price(4k) its a g8 phone and stunning design.
