i am also facing the same problem but i am able to get between 100 to 120 kbps speed. But even some times 40kbps speed at fullsignal. I dont know what to do.

I have it for a month and is a very good phone so i will recommemd it. It have 1.3mp camera, music player, 8gb memory card support, video recording, bluetooth. What can you ask for? It have 3g for surfing, theme creator to create your own themes. Battery last very long. I recommend to use adapter with 3.5mm jack as it sounds better than default ones. If you got anything just post it here and have a nice day.

In relation to the previous post, it will also be helpful if anyone knows how to unlock the keypad without opening the slider, while the phone is in sleep mode.
one way is to press and hold the volume key.
isn't there any other key combination with the soft key + navigation key or the dialing key?

Guys, how to prevent the AUTO KEYPAD LOCK feature?
This phone is locked every time the slider is down. And then to unlock the screen u have to press and hold the volume key on the left side (as been said by jay).
anyway, it's a very good phone. But I don't know why this phone isn't available in many stores.
salespersons won't give u the proper answer. some saying samsung doesn't supply that any more. some saying, the phone wasn't a hit in the market.
which surprises me, because this is a great phone man!!
