sue, 12 Mar 2010Just got this phone and though I expected it to be pretty b... moreI don't have this model...but from my experience using samsung phone, the way to change tone setting is on the PHONE PROFILES...u can set message alert tone, MESSAGE ALERT REPEAT, and message alert tone volume...

Is there really nobody that can help me with changing the softkey settings? It is nowhere to be found on the normal menu, but there must be a way the mobile company gets it in there.

sue, 12 Mar 2010Just got this phone and though I expected it to be pretty b... more..you are right...the logical place on most phones to find this keystroke noise function would be on a menu system. However Samsung have elected to use the volume keys on the side of the phone to control keystroke sounds. By pressing the down volume key while the slide ph. is open you can turn the volume of the keystrokes down and also "mute" them. Hope this is helpful

Yes - TRUE, but official price, without choosing an operator (by choosing one-you can get both for 1 EUR..:)), in a random store; is definitely HIGHER for Samsung C5510-excellent phone, I repeat. BUT, where is 'the catch' then with the LG GD330 ??? (It does NOT have some 'regular' features,LESS important ones, but has many features that others do NOT).
I am confused about it, 'cause BOTH ARE ALMOST OF IDENTICAL 'RANK'...-??? Not to mention that there is an LG 'copy of iPhone wannabe' and same price as GD330!

FOR SUE: I am sorry, Sue, I NEVER had a Motorola - DID HAVE Nokia(s), Sony, Sony Ericsson(s), Samsung: even Alcatel(s) and a Sagem - however really: NONE of these gave out the warnings that You described. SORRY...
And sorry - previous post: mis-spelled 'just' and 'sceptical'-DID NOT TRUST THE LG SIMPLY...

Please, I am very serious... HOW can it be that this phone (which I'm sure is good) can cost over 200 EUR - (converted from Cro. money), and a LG GD330, also 'slide', VERY SIMILAR FEATURES (+ LG comes with the USB cable in the...box and C5510 NOT) NOT EVEN 2/3 of that sum? COULD IT BE YUST THE NAME - SAMSUNG? I got myself the LG - NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL (and was veery sdeptic)! Thx, guys... (Any experiences?)

Just got this phone and though I expected it to be pretty basic it doesn't seem to have the reminder beep for when you have an un-viewed text or missed call. Can anyone tell me if I am missing something cause I've had this feature on my last 2 motorolas and will really miss it!

The camera resolution for video call acc. to Croatian (detailed) User Guide is 0.3 MpX. I am buying the phone today. It is more expensive than LG KP502 -touch-screen(compared somewhere with I-Phone (?!)) - Absurd.. THIS particular LG is sh..!
