It seems this phone has some difficulties downloading whatssupp? ( whatever ) ... others find it hard also connecting internet settings... or have it configured...
first of all, you have to buy original samsung phones. if problem still persists? call/or report/go directly to the nearest samsung dealers. am sure there are lots of good people there that could help you.
...anyways, this is a simple basic full QWERTY keypad phone...with a superb stylish design.

I bought my daughter this Samsing Ch@t 222 and we have been trying to load Whatsapp on it and it seems impossible. Can this phone have Whatsapp on it?

But you can backup messages to memory card. there the messages are stored in VMG format from where you can transfer them to a PC when you set "pc connection" to "mass storeage" for this OPEN >settings>pc connection>select: mass storeage. connect your phone via USB to computer and it will show you two storeage devices. One is the phone memory and the second is memory card. good luck

Lawm, 05 Jan 2013Good for texting & calling..as well as listening to mp3... moreindeed! hands down to the design. very good looking phone. but not that good when it comes to the chat features & applications.

The batter is not very good,when fully charge it last for only 2 hrs.And i cannot download from internet,i want to download Bible.

Good for texting & calling..as well as listening to mp3s. not promoting its chat features coz it's always the nternet settings--jar invalid all the time.
none-the-less ... it's really true!--arguably, design wise?! -- the best Qwerty-keypad phone from 2000-present. this phone ch@t 222 -- the best designed phone.

This is the slight upgraded version of its brother--ch@t 220... coz this have dual sim feature.
ch@t 222 is more livelier compared to ch@t 220 more or less.
Good thing about these qwerty phones, they come in black & design wise?! superb!! arguably the best looking full qwerty phone in the planet.

Luv this. only 40 EUR... inexpensive but reliable. This is the standard of all basic classic keypad/qwerty phones. this is really a good coOkie!:)
