222 user, 29 Mar 2012i had a nokia 101 and considered to switch over to samsung ... moreYes it is playing wma files but Samsung E2222 cannot read the tags like album, artist name etc of wma files. If you were trying to to find music by album you will definitely not getting your wma file to according to its album, it will be in unknown album. But this mobile does support WMA I have tried it.

i had a nokia 101 and considered to switch over to samsung as i read it supports more GSM bands and WMA music format as i found from the spec list here.
However, once i brought it home and put in some WMA music, to my horror, I am getting "Not supported content" error!
I picked Samsung over Nokia Asha 200 in consideration of the 2 extra GSM bands while both of them should play WMA. Now that I know Ch@t 222 doesn't support WMA, I am considering to switch over to Nokia Asha 200 unless I can find some Apps to decode WMA.

ZIZOU, 29 Mar 2012please could you tell me the solution of the sumsung e2222 ... moreNow I have found solution for it. The problem exist with firmware you just need to change or update firmware that's it.
How to update.
1. Download this file http://turbobit.net/download/free/rlfufg2t95ii
2. After download it extract it to anywhere into your pc. Go to extracted folder then go to "Flash loader 7.4.7_SSG_v0.1_Lite" folder into that folder go to "Sunstone_V5_00_0_1_WHQLed" folder and run setup.exe.
3. Now go back to "Flash loader 7.4.7_SSG_v0.1_Lite" folder and open Flash loader 7.4.7_SSG_v0.1_Lite.exe, Switch off you mobile and hold 1 and 3 button and connect mobile usb cable to pc.
4. On software Click
(You will get all these files in "E2222XEKD4" folder)
- SET MODEL button and select: E2222_TEXTO_Setting_v00.mdl
- For Application Binary File select: E2222XE.ptt
- For Tfs file select: E2222XEKD4.tfs
- For CSC file select: E2222OXEKD6.csc
Then press start.
5. You will notice in the Download status section the blue bar appear, just after that disconnect your mobile from pc and switch it on and again switch it off and hold 1 and 3 button and connect usb cable to pc you will notice that below download status in device 1 section some text appears and your blue progress bar turn into yellow and second one will progressing the process. Just wait till yellow progress bar again turn into blue and your mobile will automatically switched on.
6. Disconnect the phone and turn it on then do Full reset: *2767*3855#
Now install java apps, it will definitely works.

for those having problem with download u will have to download operamini 4.4 to ur system then u transfer it to ur phone via micro sd adaptor (memeory card) then insert the memory card to ur phone open the operamini den launch and save then u can now download any oder app tru operamini on your phone
