why the screen goes blank????it is verry important to me......like the others....
i don't know...how to fix it!?!
what should i do??
i don't want to lose this phone 'cause is Samsung and i like Samsung.

The D410 is a flashy kind of phone that speaks class about you, it keeps you seperated from other phone users alike. Although it has a common defect which is with the infrared device. It neither sends nor recieves multimedia components from other phones and i think this is a general problem with all Samsung models. SAMSUNG take note!!!

Screen goes blank or distorted all the time, have to reboot(turn off/on) everytime it does it. Have to keep in slide-up position just to use it. No sound, caller can hear u but u cant hear them both incoming and outbound calls, have to use ear speakers all the time. ring+vibrate doesnt work since day 1. Only had it for a year. not worth it; not good for emergencies. I learned my lesson, i will stay with my junkie old phone, still works perfect. so much for 400 bucks.

its seems the screen going blank is a common issue with this phone, am having the same problem attimes it goes off until i hit the battery, before it picks up, i wonder what to do again, i love the phone, i just feel i can download thats all, or sale the phone to buy another samsung phone

its a lovely phone thou, but am not really enjoying it cos i cant download music it doesnt have memory card, i would have loved to download music in it but its not possible, can you tell how i can download my music and enjoy the phone

D410 was really a revolution of mobile's technical. I love it. Bought last Oct so far still enjoy. Please tell me how to delete music, image which up-loaded by GPRS soft in order to free up phone memory. It just allows to delete photos, videos only.

I had the D410 before it got stolen few weeks ago. It is such a great phone. I'm female and very used to small, cute lady-like things, but I couldn't resist the D410. Its a large phone, but I still love it. I'm getting another one pretty soon. I thought of going for the D500, but I don't like the black colour and my dealer can't seem to find the silver of it. I had the same problem with the D410 months ago - the screen went blank, couldn't receive calls as the other person on the line would not hear me. I took it to the Samsung office here and the LCD lens (or so)was replaced. I didn't have anymore problems with the phone until it got stolen. I'm honest enough to admit that I might still have the same problem with the new one I'm getting next week, but as long as it can be repaired, I'm still loving it!!!

I really like this phone but recently the phone went dead. I saw similar postings with the same problem. First, the screen went blank, I could not see anything at all. I removed the battery and as others described it worked for sometime but then it went blank again. Another problem was the phone could not play the ringtones, or any of the sounds. Thir problem, people who called me or I called could hear me but I did not hear them. Great phone with a lot of issues. NOthing against Samsung but I am getting the K750 now.

Hi i am looking at buying one of these phones but i have found it really hard to find out how big the screen is in cm/mm???? i have receieved 3 diff sizes. can some 1 with this phone please help me out? Thank you so much

the video files i have downloaded from my d410 phone doesnt have an audio... why is that? is it really the case with D410s? is there a way we can download and later play the video (with audio as well)? please help.. thanks..

The white screen problem can be fixed i sent mine off for repair under the guarantee. works fine now. It does get worse before it gets better!

Hi anuscake, i'm having the same problem on the white screen and seems like others also having the same problem. However temporary to solve the white screen, i take out the battery and leave it for at least an hour then attach it back... it works for mine... but i'm not too sure for yours... no harm trying... quite disappointed with this phone :(

I have a problem with my D410.Camera has gone.Also when i slide it on its screen goes white.Please give me some sugetion to solve this problem. I will be very greatful to whom it may concern.I have spent a lot of money.
