Hi all to put your mids at ease i not only purchased one but two D500's, one for my wife and of course the other for me. The phone is very impressive and user friendly. Bluetooth is great to send files.photos, mp3's and videos to other handsets and vice versa. Iam very impressed with the sound quality when using the loud speaker that can be switched on using the up soft key when in chat mode. The secreat menu can be activated with the code but iam not all up to speed with edge technology and iam sure that my network does not support this feature as yet.The speed of the browser is much quicker than normal (depending on your isp) and downloads are a blast. From being a Nokia fan all my adult life and making the jump to Samsung i have not been let down. So go on make the change and have fun!!

basically, if you have high quality bitrate for mp3. u wont be able to store lot of songs. but if u convert mp3 to lower bitrate or convert to mp3 pro, then u get to store more mp3. it all depend on the bitrate quality.

D500 PROBLEMS. PLEASE HELP.
1) my bluetooth doesn't work anymore all of a sudden. it recognizes devices and is recognized by them but when the compatible file is transfered, it is not viewable (jpeg pic for example) on the phone. thanks koss MANIAC for trying to help but i don't see any bluetooth reinstallation instructions in the manual. where can i find this?
2) i'm from the US which is so stupidly behind in mobile phones so i am forced to buy an unlocked one from overseas such as this one. i have T-Mobile service and am unable to use the GPRS, internet, or send/receive MMS messages. i can't find any download to enable this on samsung's website and a lot of the workers at the stores have no idea what phone this is. is there anything that i can do?
i really would like help with these problems if anyone can help me. if not, i'm going to sell this phone because it's useless to have a phone with features if i can't even use it in this stupid country.

Recently purchased this phone. First I was hesitating to purchase this phone as there was no space for memory card. There were many other options like Nokia and Sony Ericsson. Due to the compact and elegant look, I purchase this D500. I admit, this phone is superb and stylish. Screen is too good and features are no where less than Nokia. Best phone in its category and I do not regret, that this phone does not have optional memory card as 96MB is enough for me. So, I suggest all samsung lovers to go for D500 and enjoy.
