This moby is the best I have had. It does everything I want it to, great MP3 player, good quality pictures. It would be hard to try and find another moby now that would live up to this. Only downside video quality not great but I can live with that. If anyone knows of a moby that is better than this one then please let me know!!!!

The phone is alright. Nothing special. It is definitely overpriced £350 sim free? A joke!! For what? I could buy a K700i and a 6230 for £300

Anyone know whether to get this phone or wait for the D720. I dont really care for the Symbian operating system, so which one should I get? The D500 looks better in my opinion, but I still cant decide. Is it better to wait or is the D500 a worthy alternative?

Just got the phone. Many of the generic accessories available in the US work well with this phone like Bluetooth headphones and computer adapters. I matched it up with the Motorola headunit and the Targus computer and mouse adapter and it works fine. I also picked up a PDA screen tape to protect the exposed display. I highly recommend this because the screen can easily be scratched over time.

It is an awsome phone with many features that you wouldn't expect in such a small package. MP3 player is great, the camera is outstanding with many fun features.

One draw back is that tech support is not available here in the US. Service providers will not offer to help you program your phone as they do not have the knowledge base and will not assume responsibility for any malfuntions due to incorrect advice. Samsung US also will not offer much support for the same reasons so you are pretty much on your own to figure these things out. However this is not a knock on the phone. It took me awhile, but now that I have figured out most of the workings, I absolutely love this phone.

Great attention getter, but still discreet as this is not over-exploited by advertisements as the Razr here in the US. By the way, this phone is 10x better than the Razr and this is coming from a guy who really wanted the Razr in the beginning and compared the two.

Hi, I postewd the following a few days ago but got no reply. Does anyone know the answer to the following question??

Does anyone know when the D500E (with EDGE technology) will be available in the UK. I think it is already out in Italy.

I have been told that the EDGE version is better for downloading e-mails - is there a technocrat out there who can confir/deny this?

Would welcome an answer to both questions.

                      Regards

I'm loving reading down through these comments. I understand the desire to have the Symbian OS on your phone, but if you want that sort of capability, buy a Hand-held PC, if you want an MP3 player, buy one, if you want a fancy digital camera, than buy one.

But, if you want a really good phone (like this one) then you'll be happy at all the nice extra features that this PHONE provides!

                              Yo Wendell,

Get your facts right, I have the D500 and I have connected to a Motorola V3 and was able to browse the V3 files through my D500 directly. This isn't called pairing, its called bonding (I think). I have also paired up with a Nokia 6600 and a Sony Ericsson Z600.

So, just what are you talking about when you say it has bluetooth issues . . . NO IT DOESN'T!! This phone's bluetooth works very well and works at a good speed too.

                                I own this phone. If you're going to bluetooth stuff onto it then you're going to have some trouble and you're going to be quite restricted, but all can be overcome, just visit;

                                http://315.fiberworld.nl/d500/

This guy has detailed instructions on how to overcome the problems. I got a bluetooth dongle yesterday and followed his instructions - they definitely work!
This phone is kool, it has loads of memory space, so external memory isn't an issue (for those who want loads of MP3s on their phone . . . - buy an MP3 player!). The camera is brilliant (better in well lit conditions than in dark ones - a short delay in clicking to take a photo and actually taking the photo). This is a very usable phone and the groovy smoothe sliding action is undescribable - go buy this phone!
