bought the D500 today for £250 simfree, its finished in black.. gotta say it's the best 4ne on the market, picture quality is excellent and loudspeaker is really clear!! top marks..

I said in a previous post the lacquered black finish looks tacky! the smoked grey is far nicer and looks much better

Does any one knows how the D500, looks on black. I want to buy one, he's perfect. Now I have an E100(silver),and I'm kind of tired of this color, but in general, all I can say about this phone is that he is OK, to bad it doesn't have camera

Hi Guys,
My old phone was the k700i and we had a very good relationship, it's high speed data transfer was far superior to my new d500 also the user inteface on the k700i is far superior to the sometimes annoying d500. Email setup on the k700i was also much easier on the k700i.
My overall comment is that if you have a phone like the k700i and you think you will be "upgrading" if you buy the d500 you are wrong it is more of a lateral move than a move up.The speakerphone on the d500 is absolutely shocking as you have to attach a carbuncle of an attachment to the phone.The d500 is a solid phone with some exceptional features one of which is the 1.3mp camera. The long and short of it is that this particular d500 owner is happy with his phone but he does miss his k700i.

Hi Wayne, can u be little more explicit with that statement of "NOTHING THAT UR K700" wasn't.I expect D500 to be better since it has a higher resolution of 1.3MP. But since i am only talking from a reader point of view i might be wrong,if thats the case, then pls explain in more details. Thanks

TO: gsmobiletech, dude this site is a scam, i'll tell you why, the owner of this website has the same exact e-mail as of another Fraudellent web site called "www.hpm-enterprises.co.uk",this web site had been known for various types of scam practices, these people make you pay a signup fee, and then you will never hear from them, as to my surpirse i have copied and pasted that URL and asked a general question about their shipping, and the author of the site replied from the same exact e-mail address from "www.hpm-enterprises.co.uk" they are both owned by the same people and they only sell you the pictures, they never ship products, Do not be fooled at all by their prices , i have been victimized by their previous site, as tempting as it may sound, better to be careful than sorry, belive me go to http://www.expertnetsurf.com/Complaints.htm, you will see that alot of people have been victimized from the www.hpmenterprises.co.uk which also own http://www.de-phones.com , they even have the same design and website interface!.
D500 for 296?! you can't even get that price with a 2 year contract.

lol...wat so good about Nokia? In my country Korea, Nokia quite out of date and few ppl use it... maybe the user who says that Samsung cant beat Nokia is out of date coz here already release the 5 mega pixel phone wif 16.7 million colour...if not mistake maybe is SCH-S250... can Nokia make a phone like this? But Unfortunely just for CDMA... I believe it will be the hottest topic when it release for GSM...
