i had buyed a samsung D500 in the year 2006 in canada and it was the best phone i used in my life it was nearly 4 years i used that mobile but some time back in 2009 i misplaced that phone in my house in india today i found that phone i had tried to charge it its working but is body is bit broken
i used tape to fix it and its opened
can you please help me in retrieving that d500 data to my computer and show to my kids my old days
is there any way that i can save that data and retive it from my phone i am trying to charge it from last 1 hours i will be very thankful and looking forward for your help

i work with mobiles and have done for a long time now. I have to say that the D500 was and is the best phone ever. i loved it and still would have one. Love the litte speaker that you got with it.

It's time to make a large touchscreen phone
with a regular sliding keypad!
Who cares if the phone will be 20-23mm thick?
Until touchscreen interface becomes just as fast as physical key command we need a combo phone!

I recently got new computer and I cant get my phone to hook up to it .Is there a site where I can download the drivers ? It is the Samsung D500 which I have no intention of changing but Im unable to get the pics off it . Ive got the usb cable and I cant remember if it came with a driver disk . i think it did but so far all searches have come up nill

This is the best phone I've ever had. Bought in 2005 and (aside from minor glitches which I suspect would be not so minor with other, more recent phones) it's still working smoothly. I don't have any reasons whatsoever to replace it; it has Bluetooth (remember, this was 2005!), an mp3 player, vibrant colour schemes, easy features & interface, quick menu selection, and stylish design (for me, that is). The camera's so-so but it would be great if I could add more memory (only 96 MB, but good by 2005 standards). This phone is a winner.

How do you deactivate the quiet mode on this mobile phone - its been in a cupboard since 2004 - just charged it up and it will vibrate but not ring and I have forgotten how to change things anyone help???
