Yea da fone is a kool 1 but i dunt fink da sandard ringing tones r loud enuff ok yea der louder if u use a mp3 tone but hey all fones av sum kinda hang up doe! all i can sai is if poss b4 buying ne fone always try to get a demo on it dat way u no xactly wot ya getting! makes a lota sense dunt it???

d500 is one of the almost complete featured phone;it captures every colors;it seems to be so real.im sure if it was featured w/ 3g,everyone would get one...buy now...dont be hesitant....

hey im thinking of buying a samsung D500 but i heard that ever since july several of the phones are unable to send pxt but only recieve! can anyone tell me if this is true or if yours is working fine? thanx heaps

Nice stylish phone however the problem is conecting the mobile to a home computer.
Downloading mp3s/photos/videos is a nightmare.
The software you receive with the mobile isn't even compatible with the phone and trying to connect the mobile to a PC using the supplied USB lead is not possible.

had the samsung d500 for a year now and not happy. the screen keeps scrambling up every 20 minutes or so, and in my outbox messages are often sent to the wrong person. i turn the phone off/on and wait another 20 minutes for it to happen again. back using the trusty nokia3310, not pretty but a very reliable mobile phone.

can someone plz plz tell me how to remove media files.it just there a mp3 file which i was sending through easy studio and pc got stuk so i reset and there is a mp3 file which is in my media folder which shows 0kb memory but it has taken 6mb and doesnt run either shows error media not supported in my mobile.im unable to delete it also easy studio dont delete it.whenever i delete this file it shows file deleted but it stays there both from mobile and easy studio.i have also tried that custom and full reset but it doesnt delete media files.and that media reset command doesnt work in d500.plz helpme

to the person asking about setting the phone for email.
go to messages-email-settings-email account-account settings.... and set up ur settings. u can also change the email profile it uses, by clicking email profile..
then i think u have to go to the website of your service provider, and register your phone for email..

I work in carphone warehouse along with my friend karen we both have the d500 and think it class most people say that the phone is old but we think its the BEST MOBILE IN THE WORLD!!!!

Wot a brilliant fone. Huge memory, clear text, easy to use. Mine woz run over by a car and it still works!! Excellent.

One year and 3 months old
Arrow keys not working properly anymore and
screen keeps scrambling every few minutes
Flung it against the wall in a fit of rage and buying a new phone now. Definately not a Samsung again.
