This phone is all good except the user friendliness when texing there is no send to many options when entering a word in predictive it stays on capitals you need to press 4 buttons to send a message from your address book and also has no radio, but apart from that its alright

Jamie - slide the phone open and hold down the # button for a few seconds.
Had had the D500 for about 8 months now and it's still going strong. No shakes, rattles or bits falling off. Screen still in good condition (I bought a screen cover as soon as I got it). Predictive text can be a bit argumentative at times but still happy with the phone itself.
My only gripe is with the software. How difficult is it? I'm trolling at the moment to see if anyone has written any third party software. Can recommend the phone so long as you don't want to use it with a computer.

I have samsung d500 now and never again samsung! For that big price you get bad software, bad quality of case - this is one big disaster!
After 6 months of use, the top part of case (with screen) is very shaky. Contacts that are in phone (not in SIM) you have to move one by one via bluetooth or IRDA to the new phone (samsung don't support something like move/copy all contacts to SIM).
