Is the bluetooth of that phone compatibale with other mobile phones (In transfering files, tones, ..etc)like Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorolla ???? Please reply.

Please, help me about my samsung D-500.
There is some strange icon "E" in red squware, in right corner on the top of display. Nobody I asked for help didn"t know what's that "E" means, including official servicer of our mobil operator in Belgrade, Serbia.

so far i really like this phone...but(!) how can i get songs onto the mp3? iv so far recieved some by bluetooth but it says something about easystudio and the web..the web costs money but what about the easystudio has anyone used this...
im gunna buy a cable that connects to the pc..can anyone help? pleaaaaaaaase :-) thanks

Is it just me, or does the D500 get scratched and dented really easily? I previously had a 6230 and K700 and they seemed to withstand my day-to-day activities. The D500 gets scratched just as quick as a pair of specs on a beach... now my D500 just looks a mess!

I had D500 for 1 month and my own opinion this phone is the best. Iused N7610 and SE K700 but they really can't compare with D500

heey!you who faulted this amazing and beautifull designd mobile phone i have ever seen, plz...don't try to dissuade me from buying it...all i can say is that i am madly in love with D500 !!! who cares what you say, you are just jealous coz your favorite brand could match samsung'celphones...

Probaby one of the better phones I have had and trust me I've had my fair share. Anybody who says this phone is rubbish must not have had the good luck I have with this phone. I think the samsung line rocks!!

In regards to the video.. it is ALOT BETTER than the Nokia 7260.. TRUST ME..
I used to be a nokia fan... but.. seriously.. their camera and video recordings suck... !!

My honest opinion of the D500..
I have just bought the phone today.. and have played around with it for 2 hours or so.. Ive previously owned the panasonic GD88 and more recently, the Nokia 7260..
Before getting this phone, ive read alot of the reviews here, and to be honest, it scared me a little.. some people didnt know how to turn off sounds ..or alerts.. etc. But i had no problems finding out how to do these things.. it was quite simple actually.. if you're really stuck.. just read the manual!! it explains all..
The only trouble ive had was setting the security password.. it says the default is 00000000.. however.. i tried it many times.. and now it says i only have one attempt left!! that scared me..so i gave up.. if anyone knows what im doing wrong.. could you let me know?
Otherwise, the camera.. some people say that its really slow.. yea.. it is.. but its not really a huge issue.. quality wise.. honestly...its pretty good compared to the other cell phones i've come into contact with.. but thats just my opinion..
The only thing i dont like.. is the ringer.. how you can only choose vibrate THEN ring.. or just vibrate..with no ring.... they should have an option with ring and vibrate at the same time.. no?
All in all, so far.. great phone.. slider works nicely.. i recommend it to anyone who wants a phone that is loaded with features..

i have had this phone since dec and had nothing but grife with !! i had to send it back to manufacturers for correct soft wear to be down loaded (took 2 weaks) and i still cant E-mail with !! text memory is crap so have canceled concract and going for sony ericsson (cant wait) gud riddons to it

hey everyone,
here i am a current nokia user thinking of buying a d500 but by reading some of the current things said about it you guys are putting me off as i hear its got crap video, the sliders screwed , screens go crap easily please someone correct me if im wrong but i was truly considering buying this fone as iot sounded great until about 50 people started tellin me how crao stuff on it was
i also heard that nokia is bringing out the same fone as the d500 and id like to know what nokia is calling there fone as i like the way nokia sets out there crap....

Hello all! I recently bought the phone, copied all SIM entries and went inside the phonebook and was surprized to see that both SIM and phone entries were emerging on the screen (I just doubled my phonebook). Does anyone know how to use only the phone memory and "leave SIM at rest"?

I think the phone is lovely... very sexy and stylish, i found it has lots to offer with me being an 18 yr old with a full time job... i have lots of fun with the camera and found the quality outstanding. Its met all my required needs,a definate thumbs up for the Samsung D500!!!

Its a great phone i ever had. I've used nokia, sony ericsson but this is the best. Though it lacks in some features like
1)it has no FM radio
2)no extra memory slot
3)cant change the font apperance
4)mp3 player cannot be played in the background
Otherwise its cool. Great looks .... 9.9 / 10 "Mark my words"...

I recently got the D500 on contract. I hate it!! The black plastic casing has a cheap and tacky feel to it. Customising the phone is very limited compared to other models. I have trouble using certain audio as ringtones. Sending texts could be made simpler and the predictive text option needs to be turned on each time which is real pain. Dosent work well with other makes of bluetooth devices.
