Over and over again, i keep reading comments from ppl who are technologically challenged...but i'm always happy to enlighten. The issue: Bluetooth to PC
If you want to transfer images, music etc from your D600 to PC thru Samsung PC Studio via bluetooth, you need to purchase a Bluetooth USB. It look just like a USB Flash Memory Stick and the only difference is that it doesn't store data but just sends pc signal. D600 Bluetooth to PC case is officially closed.
If this is what you want then, you must be willing to be set-back about a third of what the phone costs...all for convenience ofcourse.

Love it absolutely fantastic phone, the camera takes really good pictures and the songs already on the handset were great, now all my friends want one think have started a trend!

no didnt work for me so i just wantahead and get the bluetouth for my pc for 24 bucks and its weath it work alot faster in downloading and uploding files vry easy to use any one can figure it out i meen anyone thats meens you to

Hi lInda,
I guess you would have to choose mass storage, it is like a removable disk where you can transfer file, mp3 and others.

Am I missing something?... How come some people get the USB connection to work?... I have re-installed, re-connected numerous times.. still nothing?... I have said "OK" to the Microsoft errors it comes up with...
On my D600 under USB settings all it says is Modem, Mass storage and Pictbridge... which one do I select to simply connect to my PC?

Is everybody getting this "it has not passed Windows XP logo" warning, when installing Samsung PC Studio 3.0 on the computer??? There seems to be a problem with the Samsung USB driver and Windows XP. I don't want to ignore the warning in case my pc gets messed up, so I cannot get my mobile to connect to the pc... Has anybody found a solution apart from ignoring the warning??? Thanks

HELP!!.. I just got my beautiful Samsung D600... It's beautiful, but I can't seem to connect to my computer with the USB... is there a setting you have to turn on on the phone?... In the computer programme that comes with the phone it fails to read the connection... ??? :O(
All I wanna do is download pics
p.s. I don't have infrared/bluetooth on my computer.

why does everyone keep going on about paying full price for a new phone that they think is 2-3 months old?
the features are new and some aint even on another handset which suggests NEW handset.
i dont get why people are saying its a 2-3 month old phone when its just come out. all phones have delays, this doesnt mean there out of date.
get real ppl, its a class handset...deal with it

Hey guys we are not the expert here so you are only speaking for yourself whether it is something nice or bad for the samsung d600.
I guess d600 has been awarded "PHONE OF THE YEAR" for great reasons and it was evaluated by experts. So I guess the samsung d600 is really a best and sophisticated phone in the market and a worth of your money.
If few do not want this phone, then this few must keep it to themselves but mind you, many are satisfied and wanted samsung d600.
I must suggest that to those who own the samsung d600, must keep on exploring this phone to its fullest capability and you will find the answers for your questions. To think that samsung phones are dynamic phones and it will keep you challenged until for about 1-2 months or so and you just realized that this phone is your best friend that satisfies your expectation for a phone.

But on a serious not... this phone is not worth a new phone price since it was suppose to be out like 2-3 months ago. We are basically paying for a phone at a new phone price for a 2-3 month delay. Whats even more said is the amount of faulty units samsung released. Even though my D600 doesnt have any problems, I heard stories of many faulty units out there.

hello all....d-600 is a ver nice looking, stylish and one of the best phone in the market so far.... but having said that, although i just have had it for 3 days, but i have found so many PROBLEMS with the phone....here is the list:
:::::::::::::bad points:::::::::::::::
1) screen goes off when it is closed. the company says that this is just to save the battery life, but it just dont look nice, i mean it sould have atleast a clock or some sort of screen saver.
2) you cant use mp3 player, voice recorder, camera or any game when the battery is low.
3) earphone at the side rather then at the bottom, it makes it hard to fit in pocket some times.
4) you cant change the track or turn off the mp3 player from earphone. (like in nokia 6230 and 6230i, u can)
5) only 2 profiles... quite and another one.
6) no theme
7) no screen saver
8) cant do full screen video as i've read in so many other forums that u can watch full screen video in d-600
9) hard to type text, coz the buttons are very close to each other.
10) i am finsing more, if anyone is not agreed with me, please let me know and i'll try to clear my views...!

Just got the D600, its very nice phone, but it is not that special, unfortunatelly i have some negative points to say about it
1. the video quality is not that great, it is though the images leave traces, nothing like the review on mobile-review, or perhaps i am doing something wrong people having it can you test and tell me)
2. when oppening the phone ussualy i press the "up" button also, and no i do not have big hands
3. it is no that fast, when writting msg
4. sound is not that great also, i was expecting better, but after comparing it to moto e398 i must say that samsungs stereo speakers loose by far. (through headphones though it is ok)
5. java is very slow, at least the inbuild games compared to w800
6. signal strengh is not the best, but it can manage

ow a few pros
1. body construction is great
2. screen is also very good, clear and bright
3. picsel viewer is very nice app
thats about it
these are all personal opinions, and i do not say that it's bad phone but i do believe that the expectations for it are to high.

HELP!!!!! How can I get the time to show in idle screen? It just goes blank as if the phone is switched off...can;t be right!!!

No one has posted any firmware updates or instructions on how to flash(install) the firmwares. Just keep checking the site until someone posts a reliable firmware update. Or you can just return your phone stating your problems. Im sure its still under warranty.

gr8 phone but can any1 help when i get videos bluetoothed 2 me and watch them back they r veiwed in a small box on the player not fullscreen am i doing something wrong please help.

Firmwares are usually released by phone fanatics.. lol. or samsung updating themselves and ppl downlowad these firmwares for others to update.
I doubt there will be any firmware anytime soon since this phone just came out.
