Samsung D600

I have only been able to download 17 MP3 songs onto my D600 and it says it is full.
Is this right or am I missing something?
The phone lists four albums with 30 potential spaces in each but I can't get near to that any ideas, thanks

I had problems getting my PC to connect to the phone and what I found is that if you follow the manufactures instructions to the letter it simply doesn't work.
This what I did and now I have no problem.
1. Install the Samsung PC Studio 3 software and ignore the Winows Logo compliance warnings, they come up at least twice.
2. Connect the phone to the PC using the USB cable
3. You may get some prompts, I got 2 asking me to place the driver disk into the CD drive which I did and I think it downloaded the USB files twice (don't ask me why)
4. You should now get a message just above your taskbar telling you that the phone is recognised
5. Leaving the phone connected click on the Samsung PC Studio 3 Icon on your desktop to open the window
6. Click once (LMB) on the Managing Files Icon to open up another window. Look at the bottom left hand corner of the window where it says 'not connected,
7. Go to the File drop down menu and select 'connect' your phone should then connect to your PC
Hope this helps, it worked for me and now I am happy instead of being annoyed.
Samsung were no help either

hey everyone, just got my new samsung d600 today and absoloutely love it, apart from one thing,
when i shut the phone and it goes on standby the screen goes blank as if its off and doesnt show the clock, signal, battery etc. ive read a previous entry on here which says u need to hold down the volume buttons. does this keep the clock on all the time or only when u press the buttons? cos id like the clock to be on all the time in standby (like a screensaver). if anyone can help then please do, will be v helpful!

jess do it : some people are reporting that their unit crashes, hangs, stalls, or autorestarts. I myself havent experienced this with my unit, but its just what i've been hearing from people. If you do get a bad unit, just return it since its a manufacture's problem and not yours.

ohh come on ! this phone has a great camera and its very beautifull --- BUT --- its never as good as nokia or sony ericsson. because it is not so certain. i think that this is good phone but many peolples are complaning that D500 has broken whitout reason. i dont buy any other phones than nokia or SE just because of cheper price (100 euros) coz you have to repair it for 100 euros at last.

I have succesfully installed PC Studio & not having the xp logo warning, but still the phone will not connect via the USB cable. Can anyone help with this please??

d600 all sets in the world but it's problem in all set mp3 and all other format doesnot store on memorycard all format go to tha phone memory and the set hangs many times because i install the software or games in the set was hanged this set is not easier to use.shopkeeper said this problem 80% in all the sets.so don't by samsung d600.

Just got my D600 it is great. One problem though, how do you store MP3's straight on to the memory card? They keep going into the phones memory which only holds about 11 songs

d600 is better no comparison, its been posted millions of times that its better on all reviews

I've been reading comments on the D600, and i get the feeling that people who are technological challenged are buying a fone that is too advanced and they can't handle it.
I own a D600 and previously owned Samsung E700. I must say, i have no doubt in my mind that this has got to be possibly one of the BEST fones available on the market. If any criticism... i wud nail it for the camera being where your hands should be holding the fone, however if you change your setting for your fone to be "operateable" when it's in closed position... you will realize it was only practical.
Some nail it for auto-focus but that is made-up for by the fantastic picture it captures, video and mp3 downloadeable directly to your fone. Major savings as you don't need to download stuff of the web.
The interface in this fone is really breath taking, i haven't seen anything like it on any other fone. From a simple sms, web browsing, listening to mp3, watching video's on TV... you cannot help but to feel like>>>SCIENCE, ENGINEERING & ARCHITECTURE ARE FINALLY ONE THING.
D600 will win GMS AWARDS 2006
I am very pleased with what they've put together and look forward to more gr8 things to come. Those who don't have it...get you own now and experience mobile technology!

I've solved the problem about (usb) WINDOWS XP LOGO. All you need to do is uninstall the Samsumg PC Studio 3 and the USB Drivers>>>the whole thing!(What ever you have installed from the disc. Shut your computer down and restart. Reload the software from scratch, starting from top down. It will give you the "logo bullshit" when you get to the USB driver>>>click continue anyway! Instead of inserting your USB CABLE in the front if your pc has one there, try inserting from the back & on you 2nd USB port. Do not remove the disk from the cd-rom! Your computer will notify you of new USB/Hardware found and request you to install the drivers again. Click>>> Install or Yes, and BOB is your uncle...NOt Really!!!
If this doesn't work, then the software on the disk is loaded faulty. If does....enjoy the pleasures of TRUE MOBILE TECHNOLOGY!!!

i would appreciate if anyone knew what to do with this comment. i have the samsung d600 for about 2 weeks now but i do not know how to download full length music videos to the fone, and you can do this even though the fone isnt 3g but i do not know which website or how to get this onto my phone. i am using orange network thanks

Just ignore the warning, i've had no problems since installing it, also had this warning come up on another piece of software i installed lately, no problems with that either.

All,
this phone really started to annoy me, so it was sent back to vodafone. Main problems is the pain to install Java applications and how lame the sync is. It really doesn't do that much revolutionary. Having said that great screen and picsel viewer is a pleasant bonus. Now if only this was a smart phone - phone bliss......
