You don't need to reboot the D880 to send sms or call fro... moreit is not all that easy to switch between the sims in D 780
the moment you press the button on the side and select the other sim it immediately says the phone is rebooting
tell me where the feature is
surely not in the ones released in UAE

the phone looks are good but not the features
when there is no freedom to make calls from any of the sims what is the use of having a dual sim phone. to receive calls from other sim, it can be done even with call forwarding/ diverting of the calls of other sim on a single sim phone
when a technology is available - to receive and make calls from any of the sims in a dual sim phone why cant that be adopted in your new version of phone
surely this is not expected from a reputed company (samsung) like yours

You don't need to reboot the D880 to send sms or call from the other sim.
You just need to press the button on the side of the mobile to change between sim cards.
It's the same with the D780.
Why don't people learn how to use the phones properly???

the problem with d880 is that you have to reboot each time you need to use the secondary sim for outgoing calls and and outgoing sms. Is this still the same for the d780? i hope not.

i prank called my ex for the first time in 6 months on this phone....it was great, I could call from the new sim and if she called the old sim at the same time I could just answer the call, made it look like it wasn't me, he he. It was her fault you know, i found her in a pet store talking to another man, not sure whether she was just enquiring about a pet, but she could of been cheating..so i broke it off

i used this phone in the great fires of 1979. I was able to call the neighbourns, whilst ringing around tell sell the ashes to funeral companies...worked great for me

I've waited for this phone to replace my D880 which is useless in the USA, but then again no-1900Mhz support on the secondary SIM? Come on!

Why Samsung can't make dual sim phone with dual 1900mhz? This phone is useless again to operate with dual sim active in the USA. Only one sim slot can be used at a time due to no-1900mhz on the secondary sim slot. I am sure this issue would be corrected on the next dual sim phone from Samsung.

kidgsm.ro DOES sell the D780 under the Samsung section (not in Dual Sim section).
But for me, the shop does not really look trustworthy - any experiences with that shop? And is it even possible that they so sell the phone already today???
