The SGH-D780 Flip is in fact the SGH-E780. If you compare them, you will see that most of the specifications are the same. Even the bodies of the two phones are the same!

This is a brilliant phone. I've had it for years but it still works perfectly and the battery life is amazing. Definately the best phone I've ever had, I'll probably use it until it dies (If it ever does! :P )

youre talking about music odditys but have you noticed many samsung fones with the 176 x 144 (qcif)video recording resolution has bigger screens at 320 x 240 and some have (cif)video record at 352 x 288 but 176 x 220 res screens..What i mean is some samsungs have music controls on the front with a fixed memory not allowing full use of the front buttons and others memory cards but a basic music player..
I had an o2 x3 which recorded cif resoltion at 25 frames per second but a 120 x 160 res screen with internal memory of 3mb(1.5 user available)no blue tooth and rubbish camera,,, absolutly weird but a shame non the less...
Theres so many times ive choosen a samsung only to read its not got tv out,, qcif video,, record low battery life,,yet others dont look very appealing and are full to the brim with specs ,,one such is the e770 but i cant get hold of it cheap...Carfone do it £219 sim free so no thanks but samsung do lovely glossy fones with off the planet screens i mean ive seen the e770 in action at the link and the blues and purples on the screen were almost neon in clour they were so vibrant..

the phone cant reallly play music cause of tiny memory but it still has music controls in the front...thats a bit silly.

this model is called E780 and its avalbale...do urself and fevor and compare it with E780. there is no difference.
I guess there has been a mess up with D and E

Hi, guys..
This phone is pretty much spot on.. i had the e900 as a swap for this phone - but this phone knocks spots of that hunk of junk. Its as slim as a Moto Rzr and has all you need...(apart from memory card) and is a top class wicked phone!! 10/10

Just got this phone and it's grate.
It does have MP3 ringtones. And it has Vivid Text..
Brilliant. 10/10

all new phones don't have mp3 ringtones the new samsung S400i only has an acc player so the guy was right to ask

not all new phones have mp3 ringtones some use aac format like the samsung s400i
