When I click on "My Files" a message appears "Updating" but nothing happens then, I have been told this is a software problem. Is there any solution available ? Help much appreciated.

You'll notice that the highlighted SIM in use will shift to the other side.

Actually, I used to configure the phone thru the SIM management menu everytime I use the other SIM (not the primary) in sending a message or calling a number. But I kept on telling myself that there's something wrong with the procedure since it will reboot the phone everytime I change the primary SIM. So I explored the phone until I 'accidentally' pressed the said button. LOL!

How to configure second SIM card network manually?
Only network selection for first (Primary) card can be configured manually. Second card can be configured only automatic selection.

no 1 disappointment is battery life.And replacement batteries even showroom or service centers do not carry.Audio is poor.Cotact back up fails in outlook express with names only.So my purpose of 2 Sim is served only carrying one phone that's it.Rest i will not advice any one.Except it is better than Chinese phone with similar specs but they give at least 2 batteries as they know it you will be buying it last time.I thing Samsung forgot that !!!

i have a problem on my phone. as they say, dual standby sim. im here in phil, i have 2 network for my samsung d880. globe and sun. the other network(globe) offers full service while my other network(sun) appears on my screen- limited services. you have to switch sim just to use the other sim. pls help

hey,guys.
need to have a dual sim phone so that i can use one for phoning & other for surfing while attached to my laptop. my earlier sony er. k550i used to give me 115kbps spped on laptop. any idea how much d780 or d880 would perform?
