Hi There,
Can someone enlighten me on how to use the MP3 player on the D880? I transferred music files from my PC to the memory card, in mass storage mode; however I can't find the music files on the phone when I disconnect from the PC? I have read the instruction manual time and time again, am I missing something? Where can I find these files to play?

I just bought this mobile yesterday ($254 in Saudi Arabia). Both Sim Cards work at the same time. You can make calls from both sims without rebooting. Just click on the left button and it will switch to the 2nd sim. When you call using primary sim, you can hear the voice of the other person clearly and he can hear you same as Nokia phones. But when you use the 2nd sim (not primary) voice will be low (just OK) but the other person said to me I can hear you clearly. It’s fast. Nice screen. Looks good from inside and outside. For the camera, it is of course not like New Nokia 5MP phones.
If you need dual sim mobile, go for it since dual sim function works perfect on it and its cheep with good quality and warranty not like the Chinese garbage.

this is a nice phone,very convinient..
But can anyone tell me if theres a microsoft software that can install in this phone or any document viewer that can be edited,thanks

i discovered by accident that when you dial a number you can just press the switch sim button on the side of the phone and then use the your sim of choice to make your call, same with reloading [pay as you go].

I have this problem too.. first time i think my phone have problem.. but after i realise that because my battery is low and they shut off the lighting..

The screen light does not show any longer. It just remains dark. When i look intensely at the dark screen i was able to see the text on the screen. This means the phone appears to be working well, but the lighting gone dead!

john, 20 Oct 2008my d880 has a white screen.anyone know how to fix??Recently my D880 has been having a problem. It started with the screen just going white. This did not appear to be a serious issue initially. However, after about two days, i discovered that the sound was not coming out again. While calling i could not hear the voice of the person i was talking to. Then after some time the nature of the problem changed from sound to screen lighting.
The screen light does not show any longer. It just remains dark. When i look intensely at the dark screen i was able to see the text on the screen. This means the phone appears to be working well, but the lighting gone dead!
Has anyone encountered a similar problem or has an ideas as to how to solve this problem?

when you use SIM 1 or SIM 2 to make a call, please press the volume button on the left side of your phone. From that button, you can manage your volume.

In the "phone settings" sub menu we will find Phone Profile.
Press OK and then we will find Profile setting.
Please select 1 to manage your ringtones sound.
You can manage SIM 1 Ringtone and SIM 2 Ringtone together.

Hi,for those of u out there trying 2 minimize the D800 music player,the Gsmarena review says u cant.so bear with it.For those of us who find the D880 Browser weird(and Gsmarena say it is!),download opera mini 4.1 from the fone's default browser using this URL link:www.operamini.com. Well,thanx 2 Gsmarena 4 their eva tireless efforts 2 educate us(i mean,mobile freaks!).A snr office colleague walked in with the D880.i was amazed by the design,form,transitions and clearity of the screen.i was promted to read the Aug.2007 piece on dual sim,and the D880 review.evn tho i hav 2 high-end fones(N95 8G&SE K800i 2b precise),is like i'm going out there 2 get it!
Thanx 2 Samsung,'cos in Nigeria u cant do without mo than 1 Sim.As a Nokia and SE fan,i wold hav luvd them 2 start making Dual Sim fones.THANX.
