Your's last 3 days? mine only last 30 hrs with FREQUENT USE, ur a lot luckier than me since your minimum battery life is 36 hrs.

though there is no flash....and the original box does not contain the tv out cable....it is really an amaizing phone for people with 2 gsm lines

I have my duos for 1 and 1/2 week now, it have a very poor battery, 1st time charge last 3 days, 2nd time last 2 days and now lasts only max. 36 hours... in a regular phone use (dialled/recived calls). In specifications/manual says that battery is 1200mhA, it is corect? My older 6310i have 3 years old and the battery lasts 10-11 days, i was amazed. Can samsung do an upgrade to this poor battery?

Living in Ireland. excellenat phone. Mine is not russian and does not have DUOS on top of the phone. Easy to operate. The button on the isde allows you to switch between sim cards before you make a call or send a SMS. You do not have to turn the phone off when switching from one SIM to the other for phon calls and SMS. You can be on a call on SIM 1 and recive a call on SIM 2 by just putting calll1 on hold...simple! The only time you have to switch the phone off is when you are changing which SIM you want as the primary SIM. Brilliant phone. I do not work for Samsung or sell mobile phones!

i have this phone. it works fine. is like 2 phone in one. is very smart and he has everything you need.

Phone battery sucks!!! a span of a day with moderate use. It doesnt even reach a day if u use it for calling. samsungmobile states it has a 1200 mAh battery I guess they're just joking... it isn't funny at all samsung.

hey guys how would you put songs in your phone? Coz in the memory card it detects that you copy and pasted a song but in the menu file it just says EMPTY!

I've paired the D880 with a Jabra JX10 Bluetooth headset but when making a call, I can't hear anything. Only a blopp when the call is ended.
The headset paired OK and is authorised in the phone.It connects OK. The phone will let me shift between headset and phone OK.
Interestingly, when I refresh the Bluetóoth services list for a headset - and for handsfree - I get the message that the service is not found. However, both the phone and the headset are BT 2.0 so they ought to work together.

Hi I'm from the philippines and just bought this phone yesterday, just to sum up my opinions. Note: This is my first samsung phone.
Pros:
+ Dual Standby: No need to reboot if u want to call/send txt msg with both sim. Will only reboot if u change the primary sim.
+ 2.3" inch screen (very clear).
+ Above average camera quality
+ user friendly ui
Cons:
- Poor battery life (Correct me im wrong, i dont know if this phone needs initial charging) just fully charged at 7am but already decreased a bar at 6 pm that i dont use it much.
- WHERE IS THE FLASH IN THE CAMERA??? GSMARENA WHERE IS THE FLASH?!!! (Is there a difference between non duos and duos???)
- Kinda huge in size.
- Only 120 songs can be put in 4 playlist (30 songs per playlist x 4 playlist)
- Only 4 preset tones can be set on message alert tone. (correct me if im wrong then teach me how)

is this mobile able able to carry two sim cards operating at the same time i.e to be able to recieve or dial from either line without the need to enable it?

Speakerphone: It's in the manual
During a call, press the OK button and then yes. To switch off speaker, press OK button again.

Hi Guys,
Two questions: how can i activate the speakerphone during a call!!!! it seems impossible.
Also are there any dictionaries to download on this handset??? how can i download a JAVA application on it, there is no Application manager on the PCSuite like NOKIA!!

My previous post was about FDN fixed dial numbers, a list which limits the phone numbers you can dial with the phone.
It's a pity the D880 doesn't have voice dialling. That's the reason I won't use it as my daily, standard phone but only while travelling.

It's a phone from a not very known brand.
There's TWINSIM Twin 55 (black or white) - lower specs like 1.3 cam...
and TWINSIM Twin 66 (black) - 2MP cam
both have touchscreen.

hey gys just wondering about the battery, is the stand-by thing enough strong to keep the phone open 2 or 3 days?? don t think that i speek that much.....i need it open without charging it all the time!
