Rajesh, it seems to me like I have no SOS message in menu -> messages. There's only: 1. Create new message
2. My messages
3. Templates
4. Delete all
5. Settings
6. Broadcast messages
7. Memory status
...and thah's all... That means my phone is older than yours ;) OK, Thanks. We'll hope I will not never feel the need of that option!!! :)) See ya... By the way... Where has Maxima gone? I miss him :P

KRISY; That means you have not found the 'Musicplayer' in APPLICATIONS MENU yet. Start musicplayer.(The 'down' key is the default shortcut) From options, select 2.open playlist..all. There are 4 playlists. Open a playlist. from its options, select 'Add music from......'. Later the playlist can be launched by pressing 'up' key while in musicplayer and thereafter using 'left/right' keys to switch between the 4 playlists .
Also in options of musicplayer, select 'settings....music overrides other....ON'. Then you can come back to main screen and other functions, while hearing music.

KENNY; Valuable opinion that, Kenny. Greatly appreciated. It is sure that the screen cracking problem is unique to some early production batches of D900 and the complaints appear always from uk! I think those who got it from other parts of the world need not bother so much, keep cool. Opinions from those who got it from other places will be appreciated. And with details, if they have suffered from this problem.
And those who got it from uk earlier, take some additional care as suggested in my earlier post regarding this. Also in the backlight settings, select 'off while charging'.

SCREEM CRACK PROBLEM> As rajesh say, just follow his method to prevent screen crack problem as below. From what he saying i think is the best way to handle ur handphone is to buy extra charger to prevent overheating of the handphone. And also when taking out the battery from the handphone , becareful when u pushing the battery cover out. Don use too much force on it. slowly take out. This is my advice. Hope u guys take note =)

From what i c about the screen crack problem so far, it doesn't happen to my country in SG. A lot of my friends also using this phone for 3mth to 6 mth, i nv heard a single complain from them. I'm also a D900 user and i already used for 2 week and i felt it was great to have this phone. If ppl wanna buy this phone i would recommend it. Althought the D900i came out, but i still buy D900 as the colour of this phone is better den D900i =P. I think that the screen crack is due to manufacturing batches to different country as the screen is so thin, u cant expect every phone to be alright when they import to different country and the way people handle the goods. Thats what i think. So just don blame samsung for producing easily screen crack D900. But Overall 8/10 for me =D

TUDOR; I wonder whether the 'SOS messages' item is there in the messages menu of your phone, as there are many versions of D900 and I know that your version is not newer than mine. And if there is one, it is all very easy, no need of explanation, just go to menu...messages...SOS messages and choose the settings.
Once you turn on the 'Message sending' option in SOS MESSAGES menu, and select the recipients, a new red alarm symbol appears on the main screen. The keypad must be locked when you press the volume keys 4 times. Try it.

Mdea... I've made a beautiful animated GIF, and when I set it as a wallpaper, it plays only a part of it, about 5 or 6 seconds, and so on an on... I'm a little dissapointed, I worked so much... on it.
-------------------------------------------
Rajesh, can u explain me, because I didn't make it by the end. How can I can send SOS messages by pressing the volume key 4 times? I have my phone locked, and I press the volume key, or it must be unlocked?... How can I choose the recipient's number and compose the SOS message also? I didn't get it...

PODGE; Let me explain; I mean when the slider is open, if you shake it, felt like a little loose- that's ok. But when slider is closed, it should be tight and there is a slight initial resistance of spring when opened.

Samsung have just released Samsung D900i titanium which is hopefully the upgraded D900i model with titanium rods placed along the back of the screen for increased durability, so hopefully this is correct, so the D900i would then be great if the rods were in place and alterations were made to the screen

samsung claims that they dont provide warranty on faults due to water or physical damage, so if this has occured to a fault in the phone i dont see why this would be a problem, but has anyone suffered problems with the D900i or is it just the D900? becaues samsung haven't stated that they have improved the screen resistance in the D900i
