sorry i realized what i posted below didnt make some sense.
hey i was wondering for the incoming call
whether or not you can do anything about the way it is not as loud when the call starts out but then increases volume to normal after 2 seconds. for example:
when someone is calling, the ringtone's volume is a somewhat*** silent for 2 seconds and then the volume goes to normal. is there anyway you can change that?

Its a nice phone to use.but it has some limitations.like we cant set our tones for sms. its java memory is very low.only 4mb.i got a free oxford dictionary but its size is about 5 mb. so i cant install it into this d-900-i.if you are in a tour then there is a limitation of taking picture because its phone memory is only 65mb.after 30 or 40 picture we have to move the taken pictures to memory card. may be on that time we will loose some good moments.

To USMAN:
I don't own a D900i. I own a Nokia 6300. However, Samsung's official site stated document viewers in the specs. so i was forced to believe. Funny enough I put a few documents on a D900i to see if it wouold actually open them and to my surprise it didn't. I ended up thinking that I needed to spend more time with the D900i.
Well Samsung should be sued for false advertising. Sorry for all those D900i owners who are disappointed.
Another thing I left out with the 6300 - D900i comparison is that 6300 supports copy & paste and D900i doesn't.
In my opinion either phones are still excellent buys.

To felicia:
You can't change message tones with your favourite MP3's. You will have to select from default message tones only.
