EMMA; No doubt, D900 is far better except that it has no FM radio. D900-i has one.

im using the openline d900i here in manila. i could use it with any sim that i like... hehe...

ive been looking around at this phone and ive seen the pre-paid option, i was wondering if it is only on virgin mobile? can you change the sim card to a different dealer?

Here are my pros and cons. i've had a number of cellphones already so i guess i'm going to the justice this time... hehe
pros:
slim, nice design
bright, high quality display
menu graphics are fluid
camera is great
mp3 playing is great when hooked into a speaker (using the tvout cable)
display colors are vivid
chick magnet. ;)
cons:
slow system when browsing files/folders
camera lag for around 2-3 seconds
cant view saved pictures in full mode
no document reader
battery life is 1-2 days
video is kinda jumpy
mp3 volume not that loud but tolerable

sleek phone. excellent design. camera is great but the lag is long. sure hope a firmware update to make the OS faster is up soon. browsing through pictures is kinda slow. well... really slow. sure hope this could be fixed. this phone is a looker! all my friends are fascinated by its design. worth every penny! - dennis from manila, philippines

The D900i can handle a 2 GB micro sd but when u play the music wich is on the sd it moves a little bit slower...but it's not so disturbing

Thinking of buying this phone - has anyone whos had the D600 & moved on to D900i find a great difference between the models either good or bad ? Especially the camera - this is of particular interest to me ... is there a lag as ive found with the D600 ?

Had this a week now,in general like the phone, great camera, have a few niggles, one there is only 4 text message tones which aren't very loud, you cannot put your own tone on also no snooze button on the alarm!Would like more choice of background colours...only black or white.Battery life very poor, having to charge every night so had to buy another battery to keep with me and only average user.

hi, just not long ago when i was trying to tpye in a sms the screen just blacked out and was frozen... does this happen to any one else or is this just me... this is the second time its happened and i hope that nothing is wrong with the phone cos i just bought it....
Als previously i have posted a q about entering a code- i dont i have he right one... does any one know what i need to key in to get the serial number? thanks

To enable 'music while multitasking', select 'music player' from applications menu, from options/settings, select 'music overrides....' and turn it on. Add songs to its playlist and play.
If you select a file from my files/music, it won't play minimized

Don't go for this fone. You better buy SE 810 even though it is little costlier than this phone. Design is ok. But the document reader is not there. Moreover the MP3 player is not getting minimized while playing. The output of mp3 audio is not so good. If you compare it with any SE walkman model alas, you have to pity samsung. Samsung still has to learn to make good phone not only slim but also with good camera and mp3 player. Apart from slimness if you look for anything samsung is far behind in the race. They make the phone slim but not the other dimensions.

are you sure both devices have the BT enabled and visible?

Hi All,
Can anyone advise on pairing bluetooth devices to the Samsund D900i? Just bought this phone and have a Sony Ericsson bluetooth device, should work but isn't finding it.

I bought this phone yesterday and this evening i broke the LCD (display) and i don't know how, it was in my left pocket. There was a little crack on the LCD... now i must pay 80 euro for new display o_0 So... be very very careful with this phone, it is VERY classy and COOL in every one aspect (money, design, spicifications), but it's too FRAGILE!!!

hi can any one suggest if D900i is better than Nokia 6300.. which 1 shud i go for?
