I never had touchscreen probs,and good photos for a phone that era.
but I dropped it one time from my roof and surprise surprise I broke the inner screen on the right up corner and made it "bleed" a little but no prob with that,then it died from me,trying to take underwater photos but it lasted a good 7 yrs

Copy the image and paste it into Paint, then save as JPEG. You will then be able to edit them as you see fit. :)

used mine from 2008 to 2012 great dual phone dual active dual stand by, survived all kinds of drops from my lap to the cement floor from an suv height, dropped many different ways still worked RIP D980 - replaced it with the first capable dual sim phone HTC desire V (ICS) dual stand by only

it is working very slowly.and max lifetime for touch panel is 3 years

Great phone but like others have found the touchscreen to be a real problem and it has now stopped working after 3yrs too! Decided to cut losses and get a cheap dual band from HK and bin it after 2 yrs if it goes wrong - less hassle than repairing the touchscreen.

I have it and love it. My only problem is that recently (after 3 years) the screen started to work strange and in the servicing they said it is worth to buy something else rather than fix this.
