this has to be wrong, GPRS and EDGE?? On a fone with no browser and no MMS support? Nope, this fone has no data connection whatsoever.
I have one coz i got it for free, battery is ok but its lacking in everything else so i cant say i find it useful at all. Better to get a Nokia 1202/1280 or something like that, they have better LCD also (not colored but much clearer and brighter) so you can actually READ your text messages. Nokia 1280 even have FM radio. or add a few bucks to get a cheap sony3riczn - its still d best quality brand.
Watever you do, do NOT buy samsung E1080x, or any other samsung fone.
edit: another advantge of this samsux is the big keypad, good for very old ppl or others with big fingers with reduced motorics. But the bad LCD pretty much rules out old ppl, they will not be able to see the LCD at all. So sorry to say, this fone is so ret@rded that it cannot be used by even re@trded ppl!

Very annoying software and default settings, extremly hard to find settings in the menu, annoying old melodys, defective old plug in charge.
Very simple phone, signal ok, battery ok, good for the Samsung used users.

loool my gf throw this phone 13x or more because she got mad at me and its still working perfectly but many scratches, then she throw it again one time then the screen got broken. but still impressive :D gonna buy new samsung phone :P

Looking for a secondary (standby) phone that last more than a week on a single charge. I have Samsung B130 but somehow, for a very simple phone, I managed to brick it. :-( The battery tops 10 days on idle mode.
So, is E1080T a good replacement? How long does this phone's battery last? Thanks.

i bought this phone just yesterday and im soooo happy with it and it soo stylish one of a thousands phones, really great with powersaving mode :) i have e1080f and im sooooooo glad with this phone i hope this phone lyf is long LOL because i just dropped this phone after a hour after i buy it :D

i have my phone (Nokia 6500 slide)stolen last AUG.14 by some thieves from a regular bus..don't know if they are still alive at this moment becoz i cursed them already (hehehe)..Nwayz,i bought this phone the afternoon after the incident happened,it was so very helpful for me to communicate to my love ones,and besides,all i want is to text and call.this phone was for practical persons like me and i hope that we will be together for a long time..i want to rate this phone for about 95%..WARNING!:don't bring or take out your phone in a crowded place especially when your phone was high end models..THANKS!
