I have experienced problem with mic from the first time I used it. The sound becomes very low during a conversation and more often the receiving party has found my voice to be low. The ear speaker is also not clear. This has not happened with my old nokia 1100 which I had used for more than 5 years. The service center people changed the mic but still the problem remains. Was very disappointing as the calling function should perform to its best if not other features for a phone.

can someone tell me how i can disable to tone for service message . i do not see any option to do this in the manual . even in silent mode , this seems to be vibrating after ever call or message , how do i disable this

SAM Fan, 26 Aug 2010The standard built-in password for all SAMSUNG phones is 00... morejust to let you know there is a defect in these phones. i changed the password myself - it's the same password i use on my previous phones....after changing the code the security feature kicked in and when i punch in my password it says wrong password and there was nothing that could be done...i had to buy and new one and i went back to a nokia. nokia has the best phones and features!

I have a version of this phone, the GT-E1086 and it handles 200 contacts in its memory (I tested it myself). 500 entries is probably taking into account all the phone numbers which can be assigned for each contact.

D display is poor even though it is colour.. D display is poor than Samsung GURU B100.. But nice look..
The OS in d phone is not up to expectations.. similar phones have better software and gui..

Hi. I dont't see too much information about this model, so I have some answers:
1) Battery (how long does it last, aproximately?)
2) Screen (It's o.k.? I know it's small, but what about the size of numbers/letters, etc.)
3) Sound (Is it good?) What about the headphones?
I would really appreciate all the information you can give. Pros an cons of this model. Thanks.

using 10 months 1085T , my opinions are
ON's
1.nice keypad (rubber keypads).
2.extreme backup time.lasting 2 days even if you use 4 hrs of fm each day.
3.light weight
4.300 SMS storage capacity
5.fake call , block number
OFF's
1.Back cover is easily tripable
2.display quality is ok but not that much good.
3.Ear phones are not that worthy, mine got repaired and still searching for alternative ones
4.T9 dictionary is totally diff from other models

For SMS reject list:
Menu > Settings > Application > Message > Text Messages > Block Number > add/edit/delete here > OK/SAVE.
For SMS reject list:
Menu > Settings > Application > Call > All Calls > Auto Reject > Reject List > Too many options available here. Toy with them and get your desired settings. > add/edit/delete here > OK/SAVE.

If somebody other than you changed the phone password, then only s/he can help you.
FYI : There are lots of different password options available on SAM phones. Phone/privacy lock password, SIM lock password, PIN1, PIN2. This solution applies to the Phone/Privacy lock password. Hope this helps.

My phone (E1085) is locked and request a password. Can I get support or information to solve this problem? For example if such problem happen in Nokia phones we might solve it by using a password '12345'.
