To remove the back cover....with the cover facing up and the arrow pointing away from you, grasp the phone with both hands, thumbs on the cover and press down and away from you. Its realy stiff so persevere!
But dont try prising it off with a blade, it will slip and ruin the cover or you!

I have had cell-phones since February 1986, still have the same number!
I have just purchased a third Samsung e1100. My wife has one, as has my daughter. I have one now as a spare! For less than a fiver the phone is absolutely brilliant! Without a camera or mp3 player and such like the phone is able to be ridiculously cheap. Its dual band and has colour screen and a realy long life battery. From the Carphone Warehouse it comes network unlocked with a choice of sim! You could not ask for anything more of a cell-phone! It looks good and performs realy well, so I am recomending this phone unreservedly.

Can u tell me, how many days r d battery life f... moreI do own E1110 (similar to this phone except it uses 1000mAh battery) which last for 13 days on very light use or more than a week on normal use. 800mAh of this phone should last for around a week.
I bought this as a gift so haven't had chance to test its battery time. Btw, see this as an iPhone mini as battery cover is almost unopenable.
