Dan, 02 Mar 2010What's the different betwen the general charging with the s... more1 hour of solar charging can use to 10 minutes talk time you can use solar charging in outdoor like that but you can't charge thru solar to get full batt. just for emergency cases.

Gud Phone at this price...Gud Torch & battery backup..Yet to test its solar charging capacity..Not very slim but i am sure this will be loved by basic phone users...Thanks

It`s an excellent phone. I don`t need a cam on a phone, I don`t use it; the same about 3G and other stuff.
It`s cheap; doesn`t seems easy to break; Have a very brite flashlight; The battery, with sun`s help, lasts very longer; Good hands free function.

Irradiance, 12 Jun 2009Charging 1 hour can be used the phone AT LEAST 10 MINUTES..... moreWRONG, its talktime after charging 1 hour solarpower will last for 10 minutes. Thats differnt from standby time. Talktime means the time it can last while havimg phone calls continuosly. It means that while calling someone it can last for 10 minutes continuosly. What more if youre not calling. So the phone lasts more than 10 minutes while in standby. :)

you don't need anything els than light to charge it

I want to use this phone as a modem. Bought a data cable but plugging in my phone through data cable doesnt help. just says unrecognized usb device, through i dont see un-identified usb device in device manager.

For the text msg, you have 3 options, GSM-alphabet, Unicode, or Auto. If it's set to be unicode, then the no. of msg characters will be limited to 70. Choosing the other two would solve the problem. :)

It only allows at most 70characters for each sms(though it allows multiple SMS sending up to 6 pieces), i.e. I have to split one sms(normally around 160characters allowed by the network provider) into 2-3, which would cost me 2-3 times more than it should be!! :( Would there be any way to solve the problem? Thanks!
