does anybody here have an idea of what a low-end solar chargin phone means? Look at it, it´s not an gadget-phan ultra-expensive device, only a phone, it looks like a piece of crap, but it{s solar charged. It means that kind of technologies are avery time more affordable, and capable to be p´roduced. It´s yjust a symbol of change, tellin us that the change it{s really happenning. Undesrstand it that way, befor complaining bout the lack of 8.0 mpx or askin´for 10 hours talk with 10 miun. charge.

Poor product as solar powered, also not equipped with additional memory.

If your genius inventors can make it in 10 minutes charging time (in the sun of course) and 1 hour talk time, this will make an explosive impact to the global market. -dansevero-

My dear brothers .As you ppl knoW THAT Summer season lasts for a ong time,if you have less charge remain in your phone and you are talking to some one, just go out and and charge your phone in the sun. Its a very step by Samsung.Dont ever think negative .One must appreciate Samsung for this innovation. Samsung is a very huge barnd name, what ever they do,all in the interst of People. YOU MUST consider the efforts what they made. If set runs or not, that is another issue but atleast efforts must be appreciated.

Obviously, this phone was made to bethrown at your rooftops. if you buy this phone and you are not satisfied w/ it's specs (i mean, who would?) you just gotta throw it on the roof or at the backyard for it to be charged and at the same time, let it rust. :D

It's not really worth it. What I would do is buy a cheap phone with similar phone function inc. radio etc. It only costs less than 30 pounds in UK. Then buy a solar charger with different adapters (plugs)so that it can charge all kinds of phones, even common batteries.

Advantage of my solution is: much faster charging, lower cost and environment friendly - one charger for all!

You are not totally dependent 100% on solar PV charging with this phone, aren't you?... use your heads guys...

hey... how can the talktime be just 10 mins..
means v need to stand in the sun to continue talking.its just now possible...
if this is true, this phone is a total flop...

Solar PV-powered... meaning it can stand the ambient temperature outdoors... good work Samsung... it is better than nothing to prove... You're really the No. 1!!! Keep it up!!!
