Hi,
i have been using this phone for the last few weeks.Here are my experience
Good battery backup
Loud ringtones
Average FM Radio
Easy to sms,good key pad
Call clarity ok
Easy to remove back cover
Call log keeps track of all the missed calls,even from the same number,it will tell how many times and at what time
In the standby mode if u type first 3 or 4 numbers,then it automatically display all matching numbers.
Things i didnt liked about it, u can not download ringtones,difficult to read under sunlight.

Also the FM is not True Stereo..Only Speaker is dual...

E1160 is very nice battery rocks only problem is while messaging using T9 one has to use joystick to go to next word GOOD in comparison with nokia 5030 xpress radio which has a lower battery / lower SMS storage capactiy E1160 Fake call Facility rocks

In dis price group e1160.good but key pad is not good.

xxx, 27 Nov 2009i have habit of sending sms to all my friends in my free ti... moreIt doesn't have the option of making contact groups... meaning that you cannot make groups and henceforth cannot send msgs to people in that group. :(

iam a regular user of samsung mobiles.iam using this phone for a week.i wondered with its battery back up.only one point is decreased from the battery level.
cons of this phone
1 battery back up
2 design and key pad
3 digital sound
4 fm reseption is good at wireless also
5 assign tone for contacts
pros
1 torch is not brighter as e1100
2 no gprs
3 no usb support
all in all great devise

1)hi this message is true,
2)i have bought it 5days ago, it battery power last upto 7hours only not 12hours,
3)those one sending sms operator pl dont buy this phone because it profile is prefixed even u change in vibrate in silent mode it doesnt vibrate ,
4)service reply of each message giving one beep sound even u change in silent mode, so sms sender dont buy this phone,
5)FM radio is not clear hearable in such place, in that same place nokia FM is perfectly clear, i tested. if you place it on flour FM is not clear, if u hold it FM become clear,
6)Really iam not satisfy this mobile.
7)I preferred that Nokia 5030 is very good which FM radio is very clear but keypad is very hard to press, but battery life is same as samsung 1160.
8)samsung 1160 sound is noisy and nokia 5030 sound is better then samsung1160,
9)so totally this mobile waste of money,
the only advantages is 7 languages accepted,

i have habit of sending sms to all my friends in my free time, now i using nokia phone which has option of sending sms by group. i can send 20peoples at a time. that same option is avaiable to this 1160 phone? pl pl reply any one. thank u
