Amazingly BAD mobile,
its only number keys glow not upper keys
poor sound quality.................

Got an e1175t(as its in India) today as I required a simple phone only.
Sorry, I was wrong!
There is a flash light & FM in e1175t.
FM is good but flash light is very weak(Compared to my n79 led flash).
Look & feel of the phone is great.(Nokia, LG etc are nowhere near to the styling of this basic phone in their counterparts). Back cover is a dirt magnet though.
Battery life's good. Nice usability.
Good screen, keypad, voice quality etc
All in all its a great basic phone.
Probably the best available these days.

For £4.99+Top-up I have no complains... It looks pretty good and I liked the Keypad. Competition was with LG GS101 which was available for £3.99 with wireless FM while Alcatel OT-206 for £7.95 with FM and Camera, Nokia 1800 with torchlight+FM but I wanted a good backup phone apart from my Galaxy S and that's why I got it. Now it's my pocket phone and Galaxy S my bag phone! It has 1000 MAh battery, which is bigger than competitions and as there are no fancy apps to eat battery, it is the best phone for making calls!!!!

This is a very good phone :
- medium sar radiation
- good autonomi, long time in standby
- a rezonable price for mobile performance features and design...
In the end this mobile is better then most of similar mobiles. Good work samsung, we aspect future mobile tu be mutch better. It is in your interest to produce better products because you'll have more Customers and Generate Big Profits.

I have the E1175T. I just found out that the four buttons above do not give illumination. Is it normal for this type of phone?

Got this fone for my mom. Nice, cute, rich finish and easy to handle too.. Battery life is great. Speaker quality too, FM is nice. Torch is not as powerful. Not the best for messaging.. overall good at Rs.1300

We have this as E1175T in India. This phone has FM radio, Torch and has Good Battery Life. The call quality is better and with less distortion than many basic cell phones of Samsung, which are having high distortion.The SAR value is the same as E1170 and is pretty low. It can store 1000 contacts and 500 messages. Has good sound quality in speaker also. Sound quality is better than E1085, E1160, E2120 and E2130.

this samsung is poor on its screen it blurs and is rather basic compared to the cheaper nokia or lg rivals.
the ringtones are rather old type only in midi format .
this really aint worth the asking price . think twice before buying .

Some samsung phones have hearing problems.. whenever we make or receive calls, the caller will not be able to hear us clearly but we can hear. does this phone have hearing problem. E1170 Users - can you pls answer if posble. Thanks.
