This handset had big drawback that is it doesn't support .jpg format.

1st time i used Samsung phone.i never buy Samsung.this model has lot of problems
1. restating
2. some time showing no network
3. music player cant minimize

Its now in my hand.. today, I bought Samsung E1232B as my first dual sim phone. Mostly I like it, the features are very nice in this range. Just one problem, The ringtone, or music player loudspeaker volume is considerably low. In TV ad or here, in this comments there is no indication of it. although, they are actually trying to convince us that it has a great loud speaker...now, the point is...is my device faulty...i am really confused...

guys, few questions,
FM radio is stereo when you connect the provided earphones i.e. non 3.5mm ones, to phone.
But if you connect 3.5mm earphones, FM radio gets to mono mode, irrespective of signal strength.
(if you connect both earphones i.e. 3.5mm and non 3.5mm earphone together, both will sound :D, but both in momo :[)
also, i have 8gb microsd card, im using it in my another phone right now, has any one tried putting 8gb card into this phone??, i havent tried coz it would typically require formatting..
and how to update its firmware??

as i couldnt find direct answers to these questions, do experiment :D

BEWARE !! There is a problem in this phone.. whenever we play song on music player through playlist or folder and press BACK button to view other songs, the player gets stopped !!
I contacted the Samsung guys..they are saying it will be done in next firmware update... :(
Hope Samsung comes with that update soon..

Surya, 23 Apr 2012hai....my name is Surya...I have only experience in using n... morehello surya ... as im using this phone for past 4 days i would like to reply to your question to my known knowledge...i dont know anything abt nokia series, i never used that so i cant able to compare these two mobiles.first of all i want to say one thing why i brought this phone is i want a good basic, robust mobile. i mainly use mobile to forward msgs[i mean forwarding forwarded msgs not chats,cos i have big fingers and i find little diff to type in this mobile as it have very compact keypad], calls and music.to meet these needs this phone works fine with me.
coming to your queries :
1- i dont know abt tht cos i didnt get tht kind of msgs and i think it wont support such msgs.
2-ys it have grp msg sending options and you can stores grps like business, friends, others like that and can send upto 20 persons at a time.
3-ya conference calling option is available
4- as i said i dont know abt nokia, but this phone gives an excellent speaker volume.
5-.jpg format picture is not supporting in this phone. we cant put our own wallpaper, just we can make use of the default wallpapers comes with this mobile.
6.no you cant receive calls from both sims at the same time, when we are using 1 sim the 2nd one goes off. but it is dual stand by phone.
7.ys you can receive calls by bluetooth.
8.im using this phone for last 4 days. when i brought this phone i put on charge for 6 hrs and now its running on its half battery. my approx usages are 2 hrs of calls, 79 msgs rec and sent, and 3-4 hrs of music

hai....my name is Surya...I have only experience in using nokia phones which range from 1000-12000...I would like to buy 1232b since it fits my budjet as a dual sim phone for messaging and calling and it also has bluetooth which is missing in x1-01 and n101....since i dont have a very good knowledge about this phone i would like SOMEBODY WHO HAS USED THIS PHONE or KNOWS WELL ABOUT IT to clear my doubts about this phone...plzzzz....
1.Does this phone support picture messages which is supported even in black and white nokia phones and can we save them..?
2.can we FORWARD messages to a list which consist of 10-20 members like nokia mobiles or do we have to ADD THE MEMBERS(to whom the message has to be send) EACHTIME WHEN WE FORWARD A MESSAGE..? (I didn't meant group messaging in which you have to type the whole message in samsung phones)
3.Can we ACTIVATE TWO CALLS AT A TIME IN A SIM which is called CONFERENCE OPTION in Nokia phones..?
4.Does the speaker of this phone gives volume and clarity as good as the Nokia x1-01...?
5.I read that this phone supports .jpg pictures from the user opinions...so can we set wallpaper in this phone from the supported pictures...?
6.can we receive calls from both the sim at the same time or does the second sim shows busy or switched off when we are already ATTENDING A CALL IN THE FIRST SIM...?
7.can i receive calls via the headphones or the BLUETOOTH earpiece...?
8.can anyone tell me how many days the battery of this phone lasts(at an average use)....?

handset is good batt bckup is also good. music player is avg and loudspeaker delivers mediem level sound. i recommend to those people who share two states with two sim slots due to cut off roaming chgs.
