samsung must provide noise cancellation feature in every basic hand set.like it has done in GTE2370. .Samsung is repeatedly committing one common mistake in all its bar phone which i regret highly....and that is hard key pads. If samsung can provide soft key pads i belive that samsung will become the best mobile phone manufacturer.

Really nice phone. I purchased 1 year back and dropped several times in the ground, working fine. last week i placed the phone in the Ford Fiesta winshield and played cricket, its heavy rain and we sit inside the car for 1 hour , forget to take the phone, then realized and dried it for 30 minutes(opened battery and sim)amazingly it worked fine now. Not even went for servicing.

I got this phone about a week ago and i must say it's a good one. I last charged it 5 days ago and i just plugged it in but still had 3 bars to the battery! For me the pros are;
1. Battery life is great
2. Dual sim functionality is very good
3. The torch is great
4. The FM radio works well though i wish it was the unwired type like in the e2152
5. The user interface is suberb for a phone on this price range esp. the smart home
6. The build quality is firm and appealing
7. The memory function are good enough with space for 1000 sms, 1000 calendar entries, 1000 contacts, 100 tasks, and 100 memos. Am not sure about the voice recorder though it shows that u can record upto 60 minutes.
This are good pros for a handset of this class and price. I cannot compare it with Nokia 101 or the x1-01 but out of the opinions i have read i think the Samsung is better.
Now to the cons
1. I think Samsung should have used a 3.5mm jack instead of the proprietary one.Nokia have i don't see why not them.
2. The voice on sim2 has issues when it's above level 5. Samsung should check on this.
3. The Fm radio should have been wireless
In closing i sure hope that the alleged software issues some have reported on this site do not arise. It is my hope that the glitch was on a few sets and the others are ok. If this is the case, i do recommend this phone to those interested in sms, calls, and basic organization.

Poor voice quality! Many complaint of echo and noisy from the other side when talking....:(

Its a good phone. the only problem is you cant play video clip from the internet

it is a good phone..having almost all basic features..being samsung we can assure top class quality..
voice recorder and fm radio is best in class..only demerit is there is no gprs..
others like privacy lock and cricket game are good

Samsung is coming up with good features and design everyday but one thing that it should add 3.5 jack to every mobile instead of those odd looking ones. Nokia is much ahead in using 3.5.whatever guys this is just a opinion of mine because i have seen many having problem with samsung's big jack.I also feel like that.I think this feature could give samsung much more priority.

Super mobile but not too much mobile. Any brand samsung buy only. No response fake comment true is true, that measn true is true. Mobile is true. But English is not true.
