shal, 19 Mar 2011E1252 is not a dual standby phone right?..so I have a quest... morein 1252 both sims are active but during call on sim 1 if u get call sim 2 it would b as switched off.

shal, 19 Mar 2011E1252 is not a dual standby phone right?..so I have a quest... moreE1252 is definitely a dual sim standby phone, i.e, both sims will be active at the same time if the phone is in idle condition. If any one sim is in use you cannot receive calls on the other sim. The caller gets an answer as "not reachable". If somebody calls to the sim already in use, they will get "user busy" answer provided you have activated call waiting option on that sim. Altogether, the best ever phone in its catagory. If you are looking for a basic phone with dual sim facility only, you can buy without any further discussion. FM radio, Flash light are added advantages, with the trusted brandname.

My Mom says: Stupid do Stupid things,why someone always Only compare normal phone with Multi function mobile??? All over the world ,diff. ppl have diff. life,some need a phone to contact his/her parents; some need a phone to showoff, play games;....etc.
All I know that this kind of phone can call back faster a I phone 4!!

in this days, samsung has launched a lot of mid and low end mobiles with gprs, edge and modem technology. But those phone retail packet has no data cable, ok no problem, with bluetooth we can use the modem, but the samsung kies has never able to contact with pc, and the phone never shown in the pc suite installed before in the PC. Its a shame that, thay have said that there is a modem option but no way too use it...there is no driver also in internet also...anyway, this phone is a handy one I think...and I am gonna buy it as my first dual sim phone.... :)

This is a nice handy phone. Both SIM are active. But wen one sim gets a call, other is out of reach. The gprs is very slow. Cannot be used as a modem for laptops. Sms and call logs are excellently designed. Battery is abt 10 hrs on single sim, and 8hrs on dual.
Plus now its available in White. Looks better than the Black one pictured here.

I bought the 1252 fur 47 USD and for that price it's quite good. Both SIM are working definitely simultaniously. But one thing is a big mess: I can't connect with a PC and connot transfer any files from PC to phone because of missing driver. Someone found a solution?

but I have a query, If I have a call on SIM 1 and someone calls on SIM 2, what will he/she hear? Switch off or Busy?
