To Tariq: For screensaver & media player, the answer is "NO" but FM radio works in background. Start radio and goto "Options/ Settings" and set "FM radio overrides other sounds: ON". Now you can use these functions during listening radio: Browse/ edit phonebook including new contact, read/create/send sms-mms-email, wap browser, play JAVA games, image editor, bluetooth usage etc. While FM radio will not work with camera, media player, voice recorder. When you try to start JAVA software during listening FM radio, you will see this pop-up question: "Play JAVA application sound and turn FM radio OFF? YES or NO". Just select "NO" option. This will keep FM radio "ON" alongwith JAVA software. So, you can browse web sites through Opera Mini software while listening FM radio at the same time. (USMAN)

Assalamo Alaiku. Friends, I've just bought this set two days later and it is such a nice set in every manner like (a qualiry in cheap cost)the camera result is f9, mp3 blayback is f9, batry life is also f9 but just follow the step of Mr. usman in the Opinion box. Mostly mobile user want security and privacy for their data that any body cant access. This set allows you to keep locked all your data like (Msgs, Images, Vidos, Music) etc etc. with the password.If you are confused in deciding what to buy? then, Buy Samsung E-200, INSHALLAH u'll be satisfied yourself with this set.

Hi!
Can anyone tell me how I can turn off that annoying sound when I hang up? I end call, and the phone plays a sound, which is too loud and I just can't stand it anyway... :(

To Anosha:
Your mobile's battery life is too short and much BELOW than normal. Follow these steps to increase the battery life of your mobile:
01. Keep "Display brightness level: 1"
02. Keep "Backlight time: 10 sec" and "Dimmed: OFF". Also keep "Keypad light: Night time" or use your custom time.
03. Turn OFF all extra tones including Keypad Tones.
04. Use "Black" Skin instead of white.
05. Use headphones instead of speaker for FM radio.While using headphones,keep radio Volume level:10 because this is reasonable volume level and volume level 14 is too high for your ears also. Even, i can't listen FM at full volume because this is very very high volume.
06. Always recharge battery when you see "low battery" message on screen and recharge it as soon as possible. If you are away from travel charger then turn OFF your mobile phone. If you are heavy mobile user, then you can buy extra battery to use it in emergency situations like low battery level during travelling.
I had checked non-stop FM radio listening through headphones at volume level:10 with my favourite music channel (This channel has most strong clear reception in my area with stereo signals) and it took exactly "13 hours 20 minutes" to empty the battery.
The battery of my E200 lasts for about 42--45 hours with moderate usage. This is better than my previous phone (Samsung X700).
As i know, there is no option in E200 to receive only selected phone calls but as you said, you can add 10 phone numbers into REJECT LIST.

Hi, I’ve this mobile. It’s good but the problem is that whenever I try to listen fm radio with fully charged battery. The battery is finished just only in 2 hours pls tell me is there any problem with my battery or not.I ve to charge bettery just after 7 hours. And I also want to know is it possible to receive only selected numbers call. I find a command of rejected caller list in the set but this can’t solve my problem so pls do help me.Its argent mail me at s.anosha@yahoo.com

Yes, you can set audio files ( MP3, MP4 AUDIO, AMR, MIDI etc) as ringtone for phone calls and as caller ringtone but audio files must be saved into phone's internal memory. And this is totally a foolish decision to set an audio MP3 file having file size more than 30 seconds because if you doesn't attend the incoming call more than 30 seconds then the phone call will be ended by your mobile operator (Some operators have 60 seconds limit). So, keep every MP3 ringtone size around 30 seconds with the help of softwares like "MP3 Cutter" etc.

Unfortunately, you can't set your own audio files other than the default message alert tones. This problem is typical for all samsung mobiles including D900/ D900i.

Please follow posting rules. Read BEFORE post. I have already given the direct link of games installation guide. Read my post dated 18 JAN 2008.
To question:
This "KD Player" doesn't create problems to the phone. I said that this player has some bugs or errors. All files in the playlist plays one by one and "Next/ Previous" option is also working but "Rewind/ Forward" option doesn't work.

I am using a Media Player named as "KD Player" version 0.5.5 on Samsung E200. This media player supports so many playlists. The interesting thing is; you can add audio,video,sound files into a single playlist or into seperated playlists. Also this software has some bugs. You can download this software from "E200 JAVA Games" page of my website. But the Samsung default player is better than KD Player which need more improvements!
