nice phone i got it 9 days ago...i really like how slim is it ..acceptable camera
just to set a song as a ring tone is a problem for me.. i tried it alot.. but its not as loud as the defult ringtones..its nice phone any ways

OFFLINE Mode : YES, When enabled "OFFLINE" mode, the GSM & GPRS services will be also disabled. Full Screen Videos : You can't view videos in landscape full screen mode. The "#" or "1" keys doesn't work.

Battery life (Talk time) of Samsung E200 is really 3 hours. camera resolution is very good.

I have found some interesting features present in E200 like :
Display Quality : More bright and clear display than Samsung X700 (which has 262K colours display) although E200 has only 65K colours but pics / fonts displays more clear than X700. White colour displays as true white colour (No yellowish shade).
User Interface : Based on RTK OS (ARM9 Series). UI like D900. Good copy features of Samsung D900. Black GUI / My Menu
Display Size : 176 x 220 pixels, 30 x 36 mm
Processor (CPU) : 141 Mhz
Camera : 1.3 MP without flash light, 1280 x 1024 pixels. If you select "Memory card" , then all PICS will be directly saved on memory card as default storage medium. Insert 2GB memory card and imagine you will take how much MP images!
MP3 / MP4 Audio Player : YES ( all bitrate supported ) with support of 4 playlists capable of handling maximum 30 audio files for each playlist. It means you can add maximum 120 audio files to playlists. Player cannot be minimised.

Yes, Arabic language is also present. In pakistan, Samsung E200 is launched in 5 languages i.e English, Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Urdu, French. In language settings, there is another option "Automatic" present.
To Migo :
To lock keypad, just press "*"key for 2 seconds in standby mode. A "lock Keypad? Yes or No" pop-up message will appear. Select "Yes" option.You will see "Keypad Locked" message on screen. To unlock, press option "Unlock" following with "*" key. Now, keypad has been unlocked.
To permanently enable "Lock Keypad" feature, Go to Menu/ Settings/ Phone Settings/ Extra Settings. Now select "Auto Keypad Lock" option and press "OK" center key to enter check in it's checkbox and select "Save" option.

in samsung mobile phones ther is 2 options while sending a message:
1-SEND 2-SAVE & SEND
so if u want to save your message while sending it u should select the 2nd one.

hello!. i have been a loyal nokia user and first time i bought samsung mobile being impressed by its shape.i have taken a lot of guidence from this site before now below r my views.about e2oo
looks expensive in low price.
very less battery life even i often scared of using mp3 player or fm as bettery getts finshied.
sound in head phones is very gud.
if u wana enjoy same features widh much more battery life then see NOkia 3110 c. but it is not sexy look.

its very slim and stylish.i m using it for the last one month. i found that its camera while in "still" mode is good but in video recording its not upto the mark even in "fine" mode. its voice on speaker is poor but on headphone is good.Can anyone tell me how can i play video songs on this phone. in which formate and on which player?
