Samsung have done a good job by producing this basic concept phone in this era of touch screen. It's cheap, fast respond (I use the 'slide' transition effect, it was awesome), anti-scratch body, 3.5mm jack, external memory, light weight, and the most important is the battery. Almost 5 days last with simple usage like MMS, SMS and quick call, just outstanding. The bluetooth and image load was a bit sluggish, but who cares about that if the phone cost less than your weekly expenses? (I bought it for just RM120 in Malaysia (about 40USD)) Underrated, yes.. people underestimate the power of these kind of phone. The thing is, I don't have to keep complaining about lag, unresponsive touch screen, bulky, and fast battery drain like any other overpriced Smartphone, Android or iPhone (been there). Basic concept phone was just awesome. Hey, congrats Samsung.

ian, 23 Oct 2011this phone can only handle less than 300kb per java file.how 2 fix the size is to large pls help us

For those who have problem with java files. You should just open jad file with notepad and rename there where it says for example 400000 bites delete that and write 300000 and it should work.

its a great phone i buyed it today i can just say excellent job done by Samsung in 1750 Rs this is a great great..... device ...becoz u see mp3 playback is superb in both d earphones nd loadspeaker ..nokia x1 is nowhere acc to d features ......bluetooth,usb conn,....and also music player is fantastic.......well done SAMSUNG

i have this phone and it is nice and easy to use but the sounds plays twice in message alert even if its alert repitition sets ONCE...i cant enjoy my message alert badtrip...pls help me why is it like that
