Anonymous, 16 Jun 2011How can u activate silent profile during standby mode?To activate silent profile during standby mode, press any key from 1-9, when pressed No. appears on screen, erase it by back key but the blank page will be there, Now keep pressing the # key to activate the silent profile. Follow the same procdure for Normal profile again.

Hi, i'm using samsung E2232 since 4 days. Really good phone for all. But i feel some drawbacks as follows, anyone please reply if there is solution for my questions:
1.If i put sms tones other than default sound means it rings many times.But for default tones it is working fine.
2.I want to listen music from particular folder from memory card, for example i want to listen Melodies only which is in melodies folder. How can i add this folder songs only to the playlists. The only way is to add from all tracks. It is not possible at all times. how to do this?
3.Will samsung provide Firmware update in future?
4.can anyone tell good websites to get games fo this mobile.

I'm using samsung E2232 since 4 days, it is really good phone for all. But i feel some disadvantages as follows, any knows how to solve the following things means please reply.
1. If i put my own sms sound other than default means
it rings many times for single sms.But default sms tone is working fine.
2.I cannot add songs to the music player by folder by folder or i cannot add songs from single folder to playlists.Because i have melodies in one folder, ...
so suppose if i want to listen only melody songs means only way is i need to add to a playlist from all tracks. this is not possible to do at all times.
how to solve this.
3.Is it supporting themes?
4. Will samsung provide firmware update for this mobile.

well i am using this mobile since 2 days. excellent software fast response, very soft buttons, nice shape, durable, good battery backup, excellent fm, veidos play in full screen and it also support high resoulition pictures upto 320*240. 8 gb works like a charm. and gprs is also fast. only con is that it does not have equlizer in music player but sounds good even without it. camera and vedio quality is excellent. very good for messaging and u can customize your sound profiles to decatvitae the beep sounds or alert tones upon your mode. samsung has also not included a mobile tracker in it.

Is there a way to turn off the annoying sound that plays when a message is sent? The same tone is played when checking the balance. This tone is played whenever there is a service reply. I seriously need to stop this sound.!! So far I have seen many users complaining about this in various forums. Why don't Samsung at least provide a option to disable this sound? (Ideally they should have removed this sound after seeing so many annoyed users :p)
Also the delivery reports should only be shown as a info just like in Nokia phones. What is the use of getting them into your Inbox as a message? :o

I m using this phone and is giving me pleasure....the shape is simple and well finished...the msg memory is upto 500 sms and MMS depends upon the memory card available memory...typing speed is very good with its soft keypad and long battery gives u the messaging the whole day...talkt time is upto 6 hours continues call which is enough...supports java games and apps can easily be downloaded...VGA camera is enough in this price range and vdo quality is okay as if samsung was going to load a better camera than the price would be much higher...mp3 player is good and have a good sound quality with stereo and A2DP support that u can connect a bluetooth haedphones to listen to the songs,handsfree provided with the phone is good for call purpose but for mp3 player its not up to the mark, so u can connect ur own good quality earphones to listen to the songs...vdo player does not play vdos in landscape mode...have a FM radio with recording option and the recording quality is very good...best of all functions is u can password protect anything in the phone like messages saperately...its not a mega phone so does not support youtube or things like that...the data cable is not provided with phone so its a big disadvantage as the cable is hard to find in the market,but u can put ur memory card in the card reader and connect it to the pc...charger and headphone ports are saperate so can easily be charged while using headphones...Internal memory is 22MB

Yesterday I bought this (Samsung E2232) mobile, IMO it is best in its price range, good battery, dual sim, mp3, mp4, 3.5 mm audio jack, VGA camera, radio, micro SD slot, very nice keypad, what else you want / expect in 4000 rupees ($46.5) :-)

Anonymous, 06 Jun 2011please any one tell me about message memory??The phone message memory(text and multimedia)is linked to the memory card. You can store virtually unlimited messages. I own this phone and I can vouch for this handset. I extensively researched before buying this and trust me you will not find a phone at this price along with endless list of features!
