you can also save the messages in your microSD via the backup (*settings->backup managin->backups*), but you will see only the phone number and not contact's details (fullname/nick/etc).

*my e2252 hasnt english menu, so menu options may be a bit different.

In hidden "GPRS Tool" menu (*#4777*8665#), of Samsung GT-E2252 there is an option for EGPRS (a.k.a EDGE) in place of GPRS. Also, there are options for GPRS Multislot Class >= 12 (4,8,9,10,12) and EGDE (EGPRS) Multislot Class

AnonD-4398, 16 Feb 2013application memory is so low, only 1 out of 10 java applica... moreThis is a common problem with most Samsung Java mobile phones. the solution is trying to use JAD packages instead of ordinary JAR ones. if you don't have JAD package, use "JAD MAKER" program which easily converts a JAR package to JAD one.
note that you should put two packages (JAR and JAD) together in the same folder when you want to install composed JAD package. in this way all of your memory (20MB) can be used to install applications.
                        Good Luck,

The one apps that runs successfully DOES give "wrong jar file error" but then runs after try try again method :)

nice set..... Fast and some Great Functions, Torch and 2 inch big screen.. Dual sim works great..Voice Clarity, but BEST feature is SCREEN BRIGHTNESS LEVEL is adjustable!! Now screen is clearly visible in bright sunlight as compared to Nokia 110(which has a poor display) BUT DISAPPOINTMENTS ARE: Samsung JAVA sucks big time.. why STILL so POOR in java section?? cant run nearly a single jar file.. Secondly, UNFRIENDLY MESSAGING (You have to WAIT while a message is being SENT to multiple contacts! while in nokia outbox messages goes in the background when we press send!) Internet Browser in so bad and inefficient, while Nokia's internet browser is great! If Nokia can produce a set with 2 inch screen with Torch and Brightness control, i would then prefer nokia because nokia's software is java friendly and reliable as compared to samsung! P.S Music/Radio can be played in the background :)

I used several mobiles. This one i purchased brand new before one week. The best in call voice clarity can be experienced in this mobile as it is a guaranteed feature of all samsung mobiles. Also songs through headset is a wonderful experience. Net speed is fine for browsing and mail.
